First of all, I would say that I am very "kind" and flexible. I always try to adapt myself on my students' needs, and I think that it is very important to ask and know about my students' interests, hobbies, things they find very difficult when it comes to speaking and studying a new language and so on. I really care about my students and about their progress in learning. I am open to any kind of feedback and any kind of requests in order to make our lessons "better". Let's say I have a very particular and unique way of teaching. I always take into account the language from where one starts learning Italian. I am really a languages lover and I learn very fast. Said that, my method can change based on the 1)the language from where one starts learning, 2)the interests my students tell me they have and of course their GOALS. Is your goal to become more fluent in Italian? We will speak until we are tired! Is your goal to enlarge your vocabulary? We will read many new materials and stories every time! Is your goal to pass an Italian exam? We will focus on grammar, but in each case we will never lose sight of the other many aspects when it comes to learning!Mijn lesmateriaal

Mirella was a wonderful teacher that help me breakdown and understand the meaning of my favorite Italian song. Additionally she helped me learn some Italian grammar that confused me in the past. 5 star review for a 5 star teacher. I’ll be reserving more lessons right away.

Finally found the perfect Italian teacher for me! Mirella is patient , engaging and very motivational. Her command of the Italian language is behold reproach. Her English is near perfect with an ever so slightly sophisticated Italian accent. I would recommend her to any student of any level for Italian studies. A real quality person!
