I am a native French-speaker. I also speak English, Vietnamese and Spanish. Having an international background and having lived in countries where my mother tongue is not my own, I have been challenged to maintain my languages levels.

Ik als leerkracht

I have grown up in France and have lived in the US during my junior year exchange in university. I hold a Master's Degree in Communications from Sciences Po (class of 2012). I love talking about matters related to Communications and many other things ! Teaching French has been a real pleasure for me since I love transmitting knowledge and trigerring debates with my students :)

I don't have any particular topic that I would like to talk about since I am curious about EVERYTHING ! When teaching, I do my best to put my students' interests forward and make them speak about things they feel comfortable with.

I had a really good session with Lily! We talked about the "zéro déchet" movement which is small but growing in popularity in France, and a little bit about Emmanuel Macron, Trump's decision to withdraw from the Paris Climate Agreement, the attack in London last night and the UK's upcoming general election. Even though mid-way through the lesson my Skype suddenly quit for a few minutes, she gave me the full time of the lesson as soon as I was reconnected which I greatly appreciated.

Had a good introduction lesson yesterday with Lily. There is only so much you can do in 30 minutes, but it was a nice first contact. I want to take some more lessons with here and practice speaking and reading with Lily.
