We talked about the difference in body language between the cultures and it became amusing to talk about various things that we have noticed from our experiences. For example, English seems to have a lot less body language built into the language compared to Japanese. I hadn't thought about that very much. I hope I can learn more details about Japanese cultural behaviors!

A great teacher who always makes her lessons interesting, plus you'll get a lot of great anime and movie recommendations!!

Had a great time! I appreciate Arisa talking fully in Japanese the whole time, it's great to chat with someone 100% in-language.

Arisa had quizzes prepared for me from some grammar stuff I had sent her that I wanted to get better at, and I thought that was so thoughtful of her!! She is so patient with me even if I mess up conjugating so many times. Love learning with her. I'd totally schedule lessons with her every day if i could!

Arisa and I talked a bit more about Osaka and Japanese culture today. I was able to learn more about kimono and the traditional world that is still alive in Kyoto too.
