I am Ndombellah Sikwattah, you can call me Bellah. I am a Kenyan citizen living and working in Tanzania for the last three years. I am a holder of a degree in Special needs Education (English & Literature). I later mastered in behavioural psychology, and am currently managing a center for children with mental disabilities in Arusha, Tanzania- more than 5,000 children in the program at the moment. I am very sporty; I play field hockey for the Kenya national team, I play golf, tennis and love biking a lot. I am very easy going, outgoing and always willing to go an extra mile in everything. I get along with everyone, and I love being around people.
Ik als leerkracht
As mentioned above, I did education, though not currently practicing, once a teacher always a teacher. I have vast experience in classroom teaching, and even conference facilitations. I lived in Holland for two years and i enjoyed teaching swahili to my friends and colleagues. I do englisg lessons for my volunteers at the center and they love it; am sure! My English is very proficient therefore we will have no problem communicating. I can handle all level learners, in all topics. I have a passion for teaching and am sure we will have lots of learning to do together.
Mijn lessen en manier van lesgeven
I love engaging my students more, so one on one lessons work best. I do love making learning a language fun and extremely enjoyable; so I go the fun way; songs, pictures, videos, and so many more. Learning a new language doesnt have to be boring and overwhelming, lets sing, recite and 'dance' through the session. I always start with the easiest, one word like greetings, before going complex. i always listen to my learners, goes a long way in ensuring their needs are met!
