Hello, my name is Ericka and I am from Costa Rica. My main passion in life is travel. I love to know authentic places and different cultures. My native language is Spanish. However, I also speak English at B1 level. In the past I taught English to children and adults from Indigenous communities and I really enjoyed that job. Hola, mi nombre es Ericka y soy de Costa Rica. Mi principal pasión en la vida son los viaje. Amo conocer lugares autenticos y diferentes culturas. Mi lengua materna es el Espanol. Sin embargo, también hablo inglés a nivel B1. En el pasado enseñé Ingles a niños y adultos de comundades Indigenas y disfruté mucho de ese trabajo.

I prefer to take a flexible and interactive approach to my lessons. I think it is important to tailor the lessons to your specific needs and wishes. I think the best thing for the student is to build the classes around them, rather than forcing a strict and inflexible teaching structure. During our first class we will discuss your goals, preferences and current level. With this information I will prepare our future lessons without losing focus of the goal.

I prefer to take a practical and straightforward approach to language learning. My main goal is to increase your confidence and eliminate any fear you have of speaking the language. I want to help you familiarize yourself with the pronunciation, rhythm and sounds within the Spanish language. I want to overturn the perception that learning another language is difficult and show you useful ways to improve your Spanich skills. I welcome students with any level of prior experience.
