Hi there! My name is Ben, and I am a social-pedagogue living in Berlin, Germany. I was born and raised in Israel, and Hebrew is my mother tongue. I am fluent in English and have advanced communication skills in German. I like to think and talk about food, mainly baking, as I am baking my own bread at home, and I am always on the hunt for the perfect Hummus recipe. I am also interested in sport and fitness, history, politics, economy, psychology, and sciences. I am very curious about people, and love to interact and to get to know their story. I am very passionate about the Hebrew language, and I feel very lucky to be able to teach it to others!

I have 15 years of experience as an educator and social-pedagogue, and I am used to meeting different students in different contexts. In recent years I've worked with kids, teenagers, young adults and elderly people. I hold a B.Ed in Education and an M.A in industrial relations, and I am currently running a comparative study on working conditions in the global ICT industry. I am very flexible and knows how to adjust myself to the needs and interests of my students.

Mijn lessen en manier van lesgeven

After gaining the basic knowledge about the language structure and letters, we will combine written and verbal exercises, dealing with topics that are interesting for you. I believe it is much easier to learn a new language when the topics are fascinating for the student - we want to tap into your passions and curiosity! The rhythm is up to you, but I would recommend taking at least one lesson per week to keep the learning momentum. I complement my classes with homework assignments - completing them is important for making progress.
