สวัสดีครับ If you're able to read the word above, congratulations, you're already mastered one of the most common words in Thai! If not, no worries, my name is Chanun and I'm here to guide to through all the ins and outs of the Thai language. So, who am I? I was born and raised in Bangkok, Thailand but I'm currently living in Ghent, Belgium. My passion for languages led me to a degree in liberal arts and a career in writing, translation, and all the fun linguistic stuff in both Thai & English. I used to work as a personal tutor so I know first-hand how challenging learning a new language can be and also how rewarding being able to speak another language besides you own can be.

As your teacher, I first and foremost listen to your needs. Whatever your goal in learning Thai might be, I want to help you achieve it. Also, as a learner myself (I'm currently learning Japanese), I understand how frustrating it can be to navigate through vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation. Kun Chanun is always well-prepared and accommdating. His ability to share the usage of the language in different contexts, instead of the pronunciation and meaning only, makes him an excellent tutor. Can't wait to have more lessons with him!

Great as always! It's been a couple weeks, and I didn't do much reviewing so I was worried I'd have to play catch up. But it wasn't a problem! We learned some new words and grammar, and reviewed the old stuff when it was needed.
