I received TEFL certification from The Boston Language Institute. The program was an in-person 120-hour program that included supervised teaching of actual ESL classes. During the course, the instructors regularly told me that I should specialize in Business English. Since leaving Boston Language Institute, I have taught at language schools, privately tutored, worked as a high school English and World Studies teacher, and I am also experienced in teaching young children online. I prefer customizable one-on-one lessons to help students learn exactly what they want to learn for maximum learning and retention.
My preferred platform is Skype because I can type in correction notes and they do not disappear after our session. I do not use the Italki Classroom nor Zoom. Please ensure that you have Skype installed before our lesson begins. My Skype ID is: live:.cid.e0bca5c05f8479ef. I also use WhatsApp.
Italki allows for a 5 minute break. I apply this break during the last 5 minutes of class. I am directly stating when the 5 minute break will be so that all students are aware before scheduling. Thank you for understanding.5.0

Michelle is a didactic, patient and organized teacher! We did a job interview simulation and I was very surprised that she took her time to read about the company and job I was applying even before the class. She has the right questions and methods.
