Hello, my name is Theresa, I´m 31 years old and I was born and grew up in Germany. I’m a social, patient and open minded person. I currently live on the Azores, in Portugal. I love to have several hobbies, such as hiking, socializing, climbing and music. In Germany I worked as a social worker and now I´m seeking for new perspectives.

I love sharing knowledge and ideas and I am very patient. When teaching I create an atmosphere where you feel comfortable and where you can experience the joy of learning a new language. Making mistakes is very welcome and a big chance of learning. If you don´t find a suitable time in my calendar, you can always ask me to open another slot.

Mijn lessen en manier van lesgeven

We will make a plan for our lessons that fits to your goal, your time management and the way you are learning. The plan gives us a structure, but we will stay flexible. We will practice speaking about different topics and I will provide the vocabulary and grammatical explanations. We can also learn with german songs/lyrics or find other creative ways of learning.

I enjoy my lessons with Theresa. She is easy to talk to and makes you feel at ease with learning German. I also like how she corrects my mistakes. Looking forward to more lessons with her.

Theresa was extremely patient and fun to talk to. She immediately identified my level of German and spoke to me in a way that was fitting of my level which was AMAZING. I am going to continue learning German with Theresa. ***** here’s another 5 stars for the class :)
