Well hello there! My name is Amir, and I love languages; that's why I have an interest in teaching them. No matter what level of proficiency you represent - be it beginner, intermediate, advanced, or outright proficient. We can always learn something new and expand our knowledge. As cliché as it may sound; aim for the moon - for even if you fail, you'll land amongst the stars. And remember, speaking to someone in their second language is speaking to their brain - but, speaking to them in their native language is speaking to their heart.

Recently, I realized that I had an inclination to understand and connect with people of various backgrounds and cultures. And, with the advent of the internet - what better way to do so than to meet people through language learning platforms like italki! As your teacher, my core responsibilities will be to help you improve your English conversational proficiency in terms of fluency, grammar and pronunciation. My goal is to provide you with a comfortable and conducive learning environment, whilst displaying equanimity and tolerance to provide you with a satisfactory class. I am also highly intuitive and receptive, so you'll never feel like you're talking to a wall!

My classes are primarily catered to improving your English conversational skills - however, I may curate classes focused on something else - e.g. proofreading. I will try my level best to drill my explanations into you to ascertain that you understand how and when to use certain words - as well as why you should use them; I'll provide you with synonyms and antonyms of the words we discuss. And let's not forget about idioms and phrases; we'll work on them too! Fret not if you stumble or fumble about often (frequently make mistakes); never be afraid to ask me questions, as I will aid you with whatever requires assistance! And keep in mind that I will correct your mistakes. All. Of. Them.
