Soona is an amazing teacher and is always engaged during class. I like how structured the classes can be and how she will cater the class to what you want to learn. I’ve tried many other Korean teachers before but she has helped me the most to become natural at speaking, writing and all other part of language learning. I am so grateful to be able to find a Korean teacher as amazing as Soona!

Class with Soona yesterday was wonderful as always! I know I always say this but, truly, I’m truly blessed and grateful to have Soona as my teacher. I always feel so encouraged and motivated after every lesson, and she really tries her best to make sure the classes are suited for your personal needs/goals. Not to mention, the fact she’s so patient with my grumpy dog wanting to bark every now and then is such a relief. 😭 I will most definitely continue long term with my lessons. Couldn’t have asked for a better teacher. Thank you 선생님!! 🌻

Wow. The lesson was intense but perfect. no wasting time and exactly what I needed.

My lessons with Soona are always useful and enjoyable. I learn a lot about conversational Korean, and she always has useful reading, listening and roleplay exercises to work with. One thing that is particularly useful to me as someone who also speaks Japanese and has studied some Mandarin, is her knowledge of the derivation of Korean words from Chinese characters, which helps me to understand the usage and nuance of words.

We practiced some role play and went over new vocabulary and grammar. Another great lesson!

We have moved on towards upper intermediate level and Soona gave a lot of advice on what materials to use and what kind of lesson structures that would best suit me. During the class, we have plenty of role-playing practices which I find very helpful!
