Hello! My name is Anna. Other than teaching, I like to spend my time cooking, going to the beach, spending time with friends and family and traveling, of course. Some of my favorite places I have traveled to is Iceland and Haiti. One of the things that makes me love traveling so much is being able to meet new people and learning about different cultures. The world is so big and we all have so much to learn from each other! I would love you be able to meet you and learn about where you are from in a lesson on italki.

I am a professional teacher and have passed my CELTA or certification to teach English to speakers of other languages, administered by University of Cambridge. In addition to this, I am entering my final year of college, double-majoring in English and Education. I have experience teaching students of all ages and from a large variety of countries such as Russia, Japan, China, Italy, Brazil, Portugal, Venezuela, etc. Wherever you are from, I would love to learn more about you and have the opportunity to assist your English language learning.

In our first lesson I would like to get to know you and what you would like to learn from our future lessons together. I will also ask you what your motivation is to learn English. After we figure out what you would like to work on, I will create lessons for you that can be focused on speaking, reading, writing, grammar and vocabulary. I am also able to do conversational lessons if that is what you prefer. I will use a range of authentic materials like news articles and Youtube videos as well as some materials made for ESL students, depending on your level. After every lesson we have together, I want you to feel accomplished and I will do whatever I can to make sure that happens!
