Hello! I am Sofie, a Dutchie living in Cape Town, South Africa. I have travelled a lot and lived in different countries, so I understand the importance of practicing your new language with a native speaker in a safe and easy going environment. I can help you with our Dutch conversation classes, or Spanish or English if you so prefer. Also if you speak English or Spanish and would like to learn Dutch or learn more about Dutch culture, I can help you in your own language. Come chat with me about whatever topic interest you, I am a writer, traveller, animal lover and I just love meeting people from all over the world! Let's have a chat :)

Ik als leerkracht

I am very easy going, and available after office hours or on the weekends. You can choose what we will chat about, and I will not 'kill' a conversation by correcting you every word. We will chat, and after a while I will see where we can improve your skills here and there. I am very patient, especially since I learned Spanish without classes, simply by talking to my friends, I understand how important it is to not feel pressured while practicing your language. Plus, you always know more then you think!

We will have a relaxed cup of tea behind our computers together. If you like you can choose a topic to talk about, or if you prefer I can prepare something to discuss with you. I am a big fan of conversational classes, rather then kill the buzz by studying too much grammer. Great if you can write perfectly, but if you can't chat away in your new language, you are missing out!
