Hello everyone! I'm Matt, a fully licensed TESOL certified English Teacher and NATIVE speaker from Toronto, Canada. Furthermore, I am an entrepreneur, dancer, musician, and have work experience in business and marketing. I am here to help you improve your Conversational English, Business English, Accent, Writing, Interview Skills (business, academic proofreading and other, including e-mails, websites and ad copy), North American English pronunciation (my speciality), and much more! I believe that having a conversation in a relaxed environment is crucial, when it comes to levelling up one's speaking skills. I recommend that you request topics that interest you. If we are not having conversation practice, if requested, I can send you some learning material before the class. This may include:
- A Power Point including several topics we use and talk about together
- Short videos discussing various subjects
- News articles
- A list of conversational vocab, transitional words, idoms, etc
Your errors will be noted on a word document during each lesson. You will be given a list of vocab you need to work on for our next session.
