While I have not taught a lot of people languages I have always enjoyed teaching people to play the guitar. I think that I have good understanding for what is important when it comes to learning a language and I see myself capable in providing an environment where you can improve upon your skills. Thomas was very helpful with conversation, and helping fill in the gaps where I was missing a phrase or struggling to find a way of saying something. He is knowledgeable about language, interested in discussing different topics, and made me feel very comfortable.

Thomas is very patient, and when you have trouble with a question, rather than simply providing the answer, he first tries to give you hints, which makes you think, and helps you remember. He also goes over wrong answers again, to provide more practice with those. I'm very pleased with my lessons, and I'm already learning a lot!

Thomas is a very interesting conversation partner and knows how to speak to maximize comprehension on the part of a student. He was a fortunate find for me, because I needed a good German tutor. The hour went by fast.
