I've taught English for 5+ years now at various locations, such as universities and non-profit organizations.
I'm an American, and my American English accent is midwestern; therefore, it's very clear and easy to understand as compared to others!
I'm CELTA-Certified to teach ESL/EFL domestically and abroad, and I specialize in teaching absolute beginners to English (A1) to upper-advanced speakers (C2-proficiency).
Also, I am a language lover myself. I have a degree in Spanish and English, I am studying French for now (and a little Arabic and Farsi), and in the past, I have studied German at university. As a teacher, I also learned other languages from my students! Mijn lessen en manier van lesgeven
The lessons will be personalized and customized based on your needs and goals, and I have a variety of resources I can use within the lessons, such as books, videos, websites, authentic materials, handouts, and more.
During a trial lesson, we will an informal conversation to talk about the reasons why you want to learn or study English, your short-term and long-term goals, action/study plan, and I will ask a few questions so that I can get to know you and determine your English competency level (A1-C2).
Overall, I want to do whatever I can to help you learn and achieve!

Adult ESL InstructorI taught nonnative speakers, refugees, and immigrants English at various levels of proficiency (Beginner to Advanced). I taught classes such as Conversation, Reading & Writing, Job Interview Skills, and Citizenship.
This experience helped me better understand why people want to learn English and I learned how to better understand people who spoke little to no English.
This was my first and favorite English teaching job!
