Through volunteerism, I have over thirteen years of teaching experience. After completing a business degree, I became TEFL certified in 2018. I then began teaching English to non-native speakers, most of whom were beginners. Before teaching English, I had two years of business experience in Trinidad’s largest telecommunications company. I managed large projects and did customer service related work. Do you need help improving your speaking skills to communicate with co-workers and upper management alike? Let me help you. I also have experience in retail and insurance. Do you want to develop your writing skills to produce professional emails? I would be glad to help.

I love teaching. I also love meeting people. I am patient and friendly. My enjoyment comes from students putting the effort, and despite the trials and challenges, making progress, one step at a time. So that they can achieve their dreams in language learning, whether that is for business or travel, I provide my own materials but students are free to suggest and send me their own materials ahead of lessons.

In addition to conversation classes, I also offer: Structured Classes: After receiving the results for a placement test, we will work together to create a learning plan that can address the issues that were identified. I will work with you to strengthen your weak points and improve your strong points in a timeframe that will seek to be in line with your goals. In these classes you will get an opportunity to practice speaking, reading, listening and writing. Presentation Classes: If you need some tips, tricks or you want me to look at your speech to check your English, I will do that. Alternatively, if you want me to see you give your presentation and give you feedback, I will do that.

Excellent lesson Jon is a very dedicated teacher he puts all his attention and concentration to give me constantly feedback to improve my English.
