Hi, My name is Katrin and I'm from Germany I love travels, languages and sports, especially any kind of water sports (kitesurfing, surfing, SUP). Furthermore, I enjoy laughing and I am a laughter-yoga-trainer. Besides being a language teacher I'm also a PE- teacher. Whenever I have time I travel in my campervan to foreign countries and live a lot of adventures. I'm always happy to meet new people and hear their story. As a result, I've friends from all over the world. I love to learn new things and like to share my skills with other people.

I am a university trained teacher (secondary school, 1st and 2nd German state exam) and I have taught in Primary as well as in Secondary School settings. All in all, I studied 5 years and in addition I completed 2 years of teaching practice in order to be an acknowledged teacher in Germany. I taught German to French students in France and I have worked as a Secondary School teacher for French in Germany. I taught all levels, from total beginners to proficient learners. Furthermore, I am a registered teacher in Australia. I specialized in teaching intermediate and advanced learners.

I strongly believe that speaking is the most important part within the process of learning a new language. - free conversation or topic specific conversation (guided) - role play - descriptions I will send you learnings materials for our lesson so that you can make the most out of the class. Furthermore, I will give you the necessary vocabulary (words, chunks, grammar hints) for our conversation class in order to give you the opportunity to prepare our talk in advance and make you speak as much as possible. I prepare my classes for you individually, general language lessons as well as conversation classes. I focus on teaching intermediate and advanced learners.

Katrin wirkt auf mich extrem positiv und motivierend. Sie unterrichtet pro-aktiv, ihre Vorschläge sind soweit sehr gelegen gekommen, ich habe mit denen den Job bekommen, den ich lange wollte. Katrin have a positive and motivating effect on me. During the class she is active, suggesting things that really work for my needs. With her tips I even landed a job, that I was long preparing for.

Katrin is wonderful! She's totally prepared for my questions and always really funny. I'm sure I brush up my German a lot every class we have. With her, I learn since the grammar until all the slangs possible! Give her a try and I assure you're gonna love it!
