My name is Alhasan Diab. I'm from Damascus, Syria and I've been living here since I was born. Even though my occupation is dentistry, I've always wanted to work in Computer, Tech field, or in Politics. There is a lot of personal stuff to talk about, but briefly, I'm an open-minded, unsatisfied, ambitious, and intellectual guy. I speak Arabic as it's my mother tongue, and I speak English fluently and I have average skills in German, in which I got B1 certificate from Goethe-Institute last year. My favorite kind of music is Opera, Classical, Jazz, Country, and Rock. Unfortunately, the only country I've visited is Lebanon. Lastly, I am so into helping foreigners to learn more about my culture.
Ik als leerkracht
To be honest, teaching Arabic isn't my major which I have a Bachelor's Degree in Dentistry.
However, firstly, I'm an educated native Arabic speaker and I have been teaching Arabic (MSA + Levantine) to foreigners for more than two years and I today I have a great experience in helping foreigners to speak this language.
Secondly, I've been studying Arabic since I was 4. Which, in Syria, we study Arabic in reception, primary, middle, high school, and even in tertiary education, In which Syrian universities are the only universities in the world that teach Medicine or Dentistry in Arabic.
I created my own podcast (Alhasan's Arabic Pod) where u can learn many useful things in MSA & Levantine.

Alhasan is definitely one of the best Arabic teachers I've ever had. He's really patient and is good at helping me correct my pronunciation. His English is perfect so he's a good teacher for English speakers who are beginners to Arabic. I highly recommend him!

Alhasan is a really smart person. He knows Arabic and speaks English very well. I was impressed. I really appreciate the fact he did not hesitate to accommodate my needs. He wrote sentences out for me to read and listen at the same time, and explained words that I didn’t understand. I recommend him to any Arabic student. شكرا!

I feel like Alhasan is much more inclined to speak with me just in Arabic because I show more confidence in my Arabic level and I also progressed a great deal in the last few months, which is why Iour last two lessons were excellent: we had pretty fluent conversations and we brought up some interesting cultural differences (apparently the word "Salone" is not the same thing in Arabic and Hebrew) and similarities ( there were some curses that I can't mention here lol) so all in all I'm very pleased and hope to dive even deeper into Alhasan's Arabic world. cheers
