I am very flexible as a teacher. I have given lessons in which we have just had a conversation, which is always great, but I have also given many lessons in which I help students with high level academic writing, such as Masters university essays and business reports. How your lessons are structured is up to you!
I have had some students studying for IELTS and have helped them to overcome some difficulties and their own nervousness, particularly with speaking and writing. I have enabled them to practise talking about the sorts of topics that you'll be asked about in IELTS, and received positive feedback from my students, including one who scored a 7 in IELTS in 2018. There are no prerequisites to learning English from me; if you can carry even a very basic conversation in English, then I can help you to improve. I can provide written material suitable for your level, or we can just chat and I will note down any ways in which you can improve, or we can talk about a video I have sent you... It's up to you, but you'll never be short of learning material with me!
IELTS Preparation: If you're preparing for IELTS, I can help you, particularly with writing and speaking. I can help you to talk about the sorts of topics that you'll be asked about in IELTS so that when you take the exam, you'll be using words and phrases you've already mastered!Mijn lesmateriaal

The greatest teacher ever! Besides he is an extraordinary and remarkable person, if you have the opportunity to take one class with him, you mustn’t hesitate, just do it! You are about to learn a lot, plus you are going to meet one of the nicest people in the world, you will not learn just about English, you will get the chance to talk about meaningful topics. Therefore go for it!
If I’d met him before I would’ve improved my English skills without even notice it, but now that I have the opportunity to do it, I will not stop because I am sure that with Lamont’s help my English is going to be better than ever!
