I have seven years experience teaching at top schools around Europe, online, and on the UN-sponsored NGO Peace Boat on which I sailed around the world in 2016 and 2017. My motivation for becoming a teacher is that I love to be a helping hand in someone's goals. I am driven to see clear progress and monitor my students' success and satisfaction. Working with people and engaging in stimulating conversation is an amazing part of my job and I often make solid relationships with those I'm working with, which have led to cultural exchanges and long-lasting friendships.

I cover all the Cambridge topics and exams, and am specialised in these exams. My strengths as a teacher lie in providing quality and entertaining lessons with a lot of feedback and support. I send videos, articles, writing tasks, and exercises after lessons and keep in touch with my students regularly. I use the Dogme method, focusing on high-functioning conversations which target key problem areas and elicit students' current language knowledge and input the necessary tools to enhance their accuracy and fluency. I also enjoy explaining clearly aspects of the language that have confused the learner, and applying the effective Test, Teach, Test method. I believe in challenge and novelty.Mijn lesmateriaal

Mollie was brilliantly well prepared with materials and was engaging, friendly and supportive right the way through. This session has definitely left me motivated to finally pursue my life-long dream of learning Irish to a reasonable level.

Mollie has to be one of the most fun teachers on italki! When I was trying to learn Irish on my own it was frustrating and definitely lacking in joy....and eventually it took away from my love for the language and wanting to learn it. Mollie has brought the joy and fun back, and reminded me of why I love the language and want to learn it! I love all the bits of culture she adds to each lesson.

I’ve worked with Mollie to learn Irish for about a year now and she is by far the best teacher I have worked with. She is kind, considerate, has a ton of resources and is really good at matching material to fit what you are looking to learn. Go raibh míle maith agat a Mhollie!
