☆lessons discounted in May☆ Hi, I'm Daniel and I was born and raised in Germany. I grew up in Karlsruhe, Baden-Württemberg and I am a native German speaker. I have been studying English for over 15 years and will be able to use English to explain grammar if required. I lived in the UK for 3 years and recently moved to Brazil. I have a wide range of interests and am a talkative person, so you don't really have to worry about the conversations.

I have been teaching German on italki for over a year now and taught over a thousand lessons on italki, and the last years I have also helped some of my international friends with their German studies. As I am learning languages myself (At the moment Portuguese, and now also Japanese) I know how it feels to learn a new language. I can also share my learning experiences and mistakes.

Mijn lessen en manier van lesgeven

In my lessons I adapt to the needs of each individual student and we can do anything ranging from speaking practice, grammar lessons (please send me the topic before so I can prepare materials), to reading and writing practice. If you own a German course book we can do exercises from the book together or I can correct exercises you have done. I am open to any request you may have, but whatever we do, I always give my best to make the lessons fun and easy going so you can relax and enjoy practicing your new language. Feel free to book a trial lesson. I am looking forward to see you in the class :-)

It is always a pleasure to practice German with Daniel! He carries the conversation with ease and is able to talk about many interesting and useful topics. He demonstrates an advanced teaching style by quickly adjusting to the learner's ability and answering questions in a straightforward way. I have learned a lot from him and would highly recommend him!

Keuze van de leerkracht

Wow - 11 July 2018 was when I had my first lesson with Daniel. I was at that time A1 - A2, now the Goethe Institute's Online tester estimates me at B2 - C1, what an improvement in less than 6 months. Daniel's ability to teach is one of the best methods I have come across. Many thanks Daniel, for helping me get this far, and I look forward to many more German lessons with you.
