I'm not a strict teacher, I just want to help you improve your italian without stress. I would like to make you talk fluently and teach you idiomatic expressions and correct your accent. Moreover, I think that being able to read and comprehend a text can be very useful if you want to travel to Italy. I don't focus on grammar (even if the grammar is always present when we talk and read)but I can help in case of doubts. Mijn lessen en manier van lesgeven
My lessons are based on conversation. I normally use books, articles, proverbs, songs etc, but sometimes I also like to talk about every day life, traditions, food, travelling, pets, children, current events. Don't be shy: I've been a student as well, so I know the problems you might face while learning a new language.Please, don't forget that the grammar is very important, but without conversation you won't go anywhere.Mijn lesmateriaal

Every lesson I have had with her has been excellent. She has become like a sister to me. Cannot speak highly enough about her. Very fluid and flexible use of languages... many of them.... with a clear understanding of how to nurture someone new through learning a language.

It was great talking to Paola. She gave me the boost and confidence I needed in preparation for an appointment. She spoke clearly, made it challenging but not too difficult. Along the way she also
gave some practical (cultural) advice. I will surely take more classes from her.

Paola is a wonderful conversationalist, ever so patient and helpful, perfect for learning a language in which you aren’t comfortable. I’m timid at the best of times, and Paola has always helped to put me at ease and I’ve learnt so much in the process! Grazie per la chiacchierata!

Another great lesson. First we talked a bit about how things were going then we read (out loud) some dialogues and discussed those. I really enjoyed it and look forward to the next lesson.
