Hello! Thanks for visiting my profile! My name is Agustín Yapura, I’m Argentinian. I’m a Spanish teacher living in central Argentina. I obtained an Associate’s Degree of Spanish Language and Literature, and I’m about to obtain a Bachelor’s Degree of Spanish. After living one year in the Dominican Republic, I came back to Argentina to study Spanish language. Languages have always interested me; in fact, I love ancient languages, and I have studied Latin and Greek. I like sports, especially tennis. I also love mountainous climates. I was raised in northern Argentina, but now I live in central Argentina, a region marked by cultural variety. I’m really happy to be teaching Spanish.Ik als leerkracht
I have always loved teaching languages, and since childhood I always liked writing prose and poetry. As an adult, I realized that language is my passion. So I decided to teach the language that I love most. My passion for teaching Spanish increased according to the opportunities I’ve had with friends from other countries. What I most like about teaching is that I can learn from my students at the same time I teach to them. I like to be creative in my lessons and my goal is that my students could learn to use this language in every-day life and, above all, enjoy its riches. Mijn lessen en manier van lesgeven
I plan my lessons according to each student’s needs, so I try to customize the lesson for each student and to identify their needs. I try to help each person to reach their language goals of fluency and to give them the skills to be a better language learner so that they aren't dependent upon me or any other teacher or material. Also, I like to introduce them to the Spanish language through classical pieces of Spanish literature. I offer a great variety of resources, such as coursebooks, grammar books, videos, and much more. The student will have quality resources to work during the lesson and to further work alone after the lesson.Mijn lesmateriaal

Brian's Club de Lecturas is one of the best things I've done on Italki. It was a fantastic experience filled with interesting conversation and laughter about the book. It was a great motivator to read and I'm glad that Brian has this option because it works on reading comprehension, speaking, and listening as well as exposing me to cultural experiences from literature.

Brian is an excellent teacher, he is always prepared and creates lessons that fit my level of learning. He is also very patient and kind.

I am very grateful to have met Agustín as a teacher. He is always extremely patient with my mistakes, but also very precise when it comes to feedback. It is quite rare that a tutor pays so much attention to the nuances of phrasing and the natural use of language. Over the two months we have worked together, I have booked a lesson almost every weekday because he is just that good. When we started, I had never spoken with someone in Spanish - nowadays, we have speak almost entirely en Español and have conversations ranging from philosophical debates to laughing about funny idioms in our respective cultures. I really recommend these lessons if you are on the fence.
