My name is Mayra Cruz. I was born in a mountainous area of Mexico. I’ve got a Master Degree in geography and other postgraduate certificates. But putting that aside, my main school has been the school of life. Like many of you I started working when I was a child, so you know what that means. l love teaching. It is my passion, and my main goal is to increase my students’ self-esteem in their language learning process.

I have taught actual in-person courses on several topics from elementary school to the postgraduate level in Mexico. I’ve been an online tutor for courses at the postgraduate level with students from several countries and I have more than three years of experience teaching Spanish online with people from several countries around the world.

I do my best to make you feel confident about your conversation skills. I create a friendly atmosphere that helps you to become engaged. I use some free, easy and accessible technology to keep track of your progress in your Spanish practice conversation journey. You will feel motivated with each achievement that you obtain. You will discover how easy and effective it is to grow your vocabulary, use grammar correctly and add new colloquial expressions to your Spanish in a smooth, joyful way. My lessons with Mayra are very rewarding for me as she lets me talk a lot without interrupting. Instead she types suggestions for better formulations into the chat, so that I can revise them later. This teacher is a rockstar and I can highly recommend her 🎇
