Our lessons are always very interesting and enjoyable, we learn a lot of new words and phrases, we speak on different topics. Ryan always corrects my mistakes and explain it. I like these lessons.

My session with Ryan was all I had hoped it to be; it was delightful. I had difficulty connecting at the first and he extended our session ending time in order to compensate for lost time at the beginning. His comments to me were precise, careful and gentle. He discovered areas I needed to improve and created (spontaneously!) brief exercises to learn and practice. He posed questions at the end of the session which forced me recall material we had used at the beginning.

I feel powerful after a conversation with Ryan, as though I'm really grasping this German thing.

One of the best language teachers I've ever worked with. Ryan was patient and very encouraging, and was very good at leaving me space in which I could work out what I was trying to say before he corrected me or gave me the answer. I found it was a more effective way of helping me to recall words.

A great lesson as always. One of Ryan's many strengths is his great preparation of materials suitable to one's level and interests. We worked together through a discussion of the history of language pedagogy with some sample textbooks.
