While undertaking my Masters degree in 2015-2016 at the University of Bradford, UK, I got an opportunity to volunteer teaching Kiswahili language to fellow students. I enjoyed seeing students meet me in the corridors and great me in Swahili. Some could even construct a sentence or two in Swahili. I am always happy seeing my students improve their speaking, writing and conversational skills. I have a 4year old daughter who speaks Kiswahili so fluently yet in the environment she is growing up, majority of the children speak English, I am so glad to be an influence in her life this way.

I'm passionate about teaching things that enhance and give meaning to the life of others. After clearing my form four exam I was employed as a Swahili teacher in a local Kenyan high school. I later joined college training as a Swahili teacher. Am inspired to be a teacher as both my parents are teachers. I have also taught a couple of international Swahili students. Recently I graduated from college and for the past three months I have been doing my teaching attachment with young children who are starting to speak swahili. I have therefore decided to teach all global students including beginner children and those who want to learn swahili for business issues and to those who want to learn swahili for test preparation. I will be glad to have you as my first global student.

I usually like to encourage students to speak the Swahili language as much as possible no matter what their level of Swahili is. So Our classes will be friendly, calm and fun.

I am a Degree holder from University of Nairobi, As a single Mum, and a sole breadwinner for my 2 kids, I was tasked with the responsibility to ensure they get the right education required. I would find myself helping my kids with their Swahili assignments and E- learning especially during this Pandemic period that hit the widely. This built my Interest in teaching more. During my Trip around the City of Nairobi I would bump into Tourists who would most of the time ask for directions within the city, and with time we would spend more time teaching them words in Swahili across the city.Since then, teaching and helping others know Swahili has been my passion. your smile is my pleasure.

I have been passionate about teaching ever since when i was young, interacting with people from all age groups. I am raised in Mombasa, the coastal region of Kenya where Swahili is thought to have originated. Apart from studying it in the university as a course, I have in-depth knowledge about the language. I have taught in different physical classrooms from 2016 till now. I help people to learn the Swahili language and communicate fluently with the natives in that you can rarely distinguish between them

I have always been passionate about teaching, and it has been a long-time dream of mine to help people mastering and learning the language. The fundamentals of my classes are set from the vocabulary used commonly in the Swahili community and aim for my students to learn the vocabulary and conversations in ways spoken in day-to-day life. There are no have barriers to my teaching, instead, I am open to questions, suggestions which can help my students master the language
