I was an Air Force linguist from 2005 to 2009. During my time at the DLI, I regularly tutored people. In 2010 I began teaching professionally in and around Chicago. In 2012 I became interested in the concepts of fractal geometry and began to relate it to language learning. Over the years, my students have included the FBI, Navy, hospitality, medical, and manufacturing companies.

I found my passion for teaching while in college when I quit my part-time job at a restaurant bussing tables. I followed the advice of a friend, who was a tutor, and started tutoring students for some extra cash. I tutored students in my major, which was Spanish, and eventually began helping English Language learners, as well. I found it to be such a rewarding experience; I loved it! I have worked with native speakers of Spanish, French, Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, and Arabic and I have found that everyone has a unique perspective. Since graduating with my Bachelor's degree in Spanish, I have had wonderful experiences teaching English in schools in Spain & France.

I like teaching because I like helping others, and it is very satisfying to see a person's improvement when learning a language. It is also a job that allows me to travel and see the linguistic difficulties and concerns that each learner has towards a language. As I said, I spent two awesome years working in China (still thinking of going back some day!) and I am currently teaching Spanish in Poland. Hello everybody! I have taught spanish for natives since 2009 in High school and Bachelor level. I have taught Spanish on italki 2014-2018 and I joined again. I also have experience working in Sweden at Internationella Engelska Skolan in Junior and Senior school. I taught Spanish for kids and teenagers from many different countries there.

I have always loved teaching languages, and since childhood I always liked writing prose and poetry. As an adult, I realized that language is my passion. So I decided to teach the language that I love most. My passion for teaching Spanish increased according to the opportunities I’ve had with friends from other countries. What I most like about teaching is that I can learn from my students at the same time I teach to them. I like to be creative in my lessons and my goal is that my students could learn to use this language in every-day life and, above all, enjoy its riches.
