Además de mi lengua materna, hablo inglés, francés y alemán, certificados en nivel avanzado con las pruebas IELTS, DALF y DaF. Realicé mi formación como profesor en la Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, donde obtuve el título de Magíster en Lingüística Aplicada del Español como Lengua Extranjera. Durante alrededor de 2 años he trabajado como profesor de español para extranjeros, profesor de inglés y profesor de francés en instituciones como la Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, AVANTI, Whee Institute, Virtual Language Classes y Move On Academy, con estudiantes de todo tipo: niños, adolescentes y adultos, de niveles de lengua de básico a avanzado, en contextos tanto presenciales como virtuales.

Me gusta que aprendas en un ambiente de confianza y respeto. Conmigo puedes resolver las dudas que tengas y también aprender a partir de tus intereses como la música, la literatura, la cultura, etc. Me gusta enseñar especialmente a adultos.

I’ve been teaching Spanish to a variety of university exchange students and tourists who want to learn not only about the language itself, but also about the culture in general. So, I’ve shown them the most exciting cultural and art venues from my city. Thus, throughout a wide range of topics of conversations, I´ve been helping them not only to expand their vocabulary, grammar, but also to improve their confidence and fluency in a fun and relax way. So, I’m here to offer you a friendly hand, in order to improve your conversational skills, throughout lovely conversations in a peaceful environment, so in this way, we can learn together and make this language journey a lovely experience.

Teaching here on Italki gives me the possibility to engage 1-on-1 with students. I try every day to improve my teaching skills, so I like to receive feedback from my students. At the same time, I like to provide feedback to my students so they can improve their conversational skills.

I am very patient, I can communicate with a good level of English, so that we do not have problems if you just start with Spanish. I will teach you through songs, so that you come out with a new playlist. and we can take a tour of Latin American music if it is of your interest. We can also discuss about books, movies and sports, learn a language as if we were children

I have studied English for several years of my life both in academia, university and in a self-taught way, therefore I have knowledge in this second language. I hope to facilitate your learning as well. I like to teach my native language to people who are very enthusiastic about learning it, I would also feel very excited to be the tutor to accompany you on this path.

I graduated from Universidad de Concepcion, Chile. There I studied a B.A. in English Teaching, which also provided me a Teaching License. Two years after graduating I entered a post-graduate programme in Spanish Teaching as a Foreign Language. I worked for three years in Chile in universities and language schools, and from 2010 to 2016 I lived and worked in Moscow, Russia, There I was an English and Spanish teacher in language schools and a private tutor in both languages. In 2015 I started teaching online through a Russian agency that allowed me to change the way in which I taught my private lessons. I already have 3 years of experience teaching online, but only with Russian students.

Tengo larga experiencia en la enseñanza de español como lengua extranjera, tanto presencial como en internet. En total más de 3.000 horas. Además, trabajo como profesor de lengua y literatura española en institutos de secundaria. Lo mejor de enseñar es que aprendes cosas nuevas cada día.

Como profesora gane mucha experiencia cuando estaba estudiando derecho, pues para ayudarme a pagar la carrera empecé a dar tutorias a estudiantes de instituto experiencia que duro 5 maravillosos años y en l cual descubri que tengo un don para la enseñanza y que realmente me gusta ayudar a las personas a superarse, ademas de enseñar tambien me gusta mucho escuchar y aprender de toda persona que toca mi vida para despues transmitir todo ese conocimiento.

Me apasiona la enseñanza y mi objetivo es que mis estudiantes se sientan satisfechos. Creo firmemente que cada persona tiene un proceso diferente de aprendizaje, por esta razón haré lo posible por descubrir cuál es el método adecuado para ti, enfocándome en tus preferencias, gustos e intereses, para que puedas disfrutar completamente el proceso.

Creo que para poder enseñar bien, y llegar al alumnado, hay que ser flexible y versatil para adaptarse lo mejor posible a las necesidades específicas de los estudiantes. I am a very versatile and flexible teacher, I think adaptability is key when teaching a language.

Después de graduarme como licenciada en Educación básica, comencé a enseñar a niños y adultos en 2015, en diferentes areas incluyendo Español e ingles básico. Desde entonces, muchos de mis estudiantes han logrado excelentes resultados en el aprendizaje del idioma, fluidez, ampliaron el vocabulario y sobre todo hablan con confianza y seguridad!!

I am a certified Spanish teacher as foreign language. For me the student is the most important and their need, I like to help them achieve their goals. To make learning more effective I like to know the needs of my students and use a learning style according to my students. Very important is the interaction in class and that the student feels comfortable.

I am qualified to teach both English and Spanish however as a native Spanish speaker, this is my speciality.. For the last 24 months, I´ve been teaching languages to individual clients whilst also handling translations for many varied businesses based all over the globe, so I have a keen understanding of how we all utilise languages contextually and how to ensure that you learn based on how you will be using the language. The beauty of 1 to 1 learning is that we can create an entirely bespoke program to ensure you are learning for the context you will be using the language, if it’s for travel, business, medical, fun - we will decide, together, how best to learn.

I work as a freelance teacher for a chain of language schools which is represented in all of Central America. Here I was taught an entertaining and dynamic teaching method.

Soy una profesora motivadora y que consigue empatizar con el alumno. Una vez que conozco los motivos que te llevan a estudiar español, yo estoy para animarte y hacerte ver tu progreso en los momentos de desánimo implicándote en el proceso de aprendizaje. No hay nada como el entusiasmo y yo estoy entusiasmada por enseñarte. Me considero una persona creativa lo que me ayuda a resolver situaciones inesperadas además de ser paciente. Cada alumno es diferente de otro y repetir o corregir es parte del proceso de aprendizaje. También destacaría mis habilidades comunicativas, soy una persona extrovertida y sociable además de que disfruto ayudando a los demás.

I'm very patient as I know what learning a new language is like. What I want, is that you feel free to make mistakes while you practice so we can learn from them and improve on those areas. I found that if you are not making mistakes when learning a new language, you are not actually learning.

Como Tutora me considero muy determinada a las doctrinas formales de enseñanza pero adaptadas un poco mas a las necesidades personales del estudiante.
