As I am acquainted to different cultures and people, and I quickly recognize what it takes for each person to learn this language: according to their needs, demands, background, education or purposes. The first thing that you should know is that I am very patient and a question lover. It does not bother me at all to suspend my plans to satisfy the curiosity of my students, be it about grammar, culture, vocabulary, expressions, etc. I love to innovate, so I am always willing to listen to respectful criticism, suggestions, and comments. I look for each day to be a better professional, and it bothers me not to give the best of me. You can trust my patience, attention, and care so that together we can fulfill our goals.

Simple grammar for sentence structure can't be overlooked. That's a fatal mistake that will set you back years.11 You won't actually be learning the language if you just repeat random sentences over and over instead of understanding why you say what you say. Another way to sabotage your language learning is by not practicing. You need to practice during and after the lesson, making it in a way that doesn't feel like a heavy load in your already busy life. 10 pages of homework is unnecessary. Short and simple does the job. Boring lessons can make you lose your motivation because language learning is one of the learning subjects that can be very fun to learn unlike math.

For me, teaching is always a win-win situation. Teaching little kids has taught me to be more patient, while some of my adult students have taught me with their progress that persistence and dedication always pay off. My objective as your teacher is to help you learn the Spanish that will allow you to successfully face any situation you may encounter, whether that is an interview, an exam, a social event: I want you to reach your own learning goals. I expect students to be patient with themselves and have the willingness to learn. NOTE: I'm not teaching kids at the moment.

I have been delivering one on one sessions online for around 6 years and I have learnt a lot of things from my students in that time. In particular, I am interested in offering students basic cultural knowledge and understanding, so that they may understand the references and tone of a conversation between native speakers. I also believe that in an increasingly integrated world, in which questions of politics, music, sport and culture happen on a global level, students should feel able to participate in those conversations. I am also keen on the art of error correction - when to correct and when not to correct.

I'm from Mendoza, Argentina. I have taught all levels of education, from kindergarden to university level students. I love my job and I've decided to start teaching online in this platform and see how it goes. I started as a teacher in 1996, in “Los Arcos” private school, in Caracas. I work there with first and second grade children. One year later I moved to my hometown and continuing teaching in “Rioclaro” private school. In 1998 I started as a college professor at the “Fermín Toro” University and at UPEL (Experimental Pedagogical Libertador University). I really enjoy teaching and meeting new people.

I believe that in order to learn a new language we need to PRACTICE, and I'm sure we agree on this: you want to be able to TALK and UNDERSTAND the foreign language you're learning, this is why I use a communicative approach, together with some grammar and practical activities. As a teacher I am pretty flexible with my teaching methodology, as after some lessons completed I can recognize how the student learn better and tailor my teaching style to their personal needs.
