I have found teaching an exciting and rewarding activity that requires commitment and creativity. It is a work full of possibilities, tools, and dynamics where participants, including the teacher, can build a powerful community. I teach to bring and share new perspectives and develop inquisitiveness during and after class. I consider it essential to incorporate the diversity component. As teachers, we are in charge of creating a transformable environment where the students can express their thoughts and acquire new knowledge and discover their own path. I attempt to develop a friendly environment where students feel comfortable when they participate and they really enjoy staying in class

Growing up with competent teachers and mentors, I've been exposed to high quality teaching and a great deal of teaching methods. With over 7 years of experience teaching Spanish, I can only bring it down to a quote by my favorite writer, the awesome Jules Verne “Science, my lad, is made up of mistakes, but they are mistakes which it is useful to make, because they lead little by little to the truth"

He tenido la oportunidad de enseñar inglés de manera presencial a diferentes personas que me lo han pedido y he tenido la satisfacción de saber que he logrado que muchas de ellas se sientan cómodas con el idioma y descubran su potencial y mejoren sus habilidades. Igualmente, he viajado a diferentes países y he experimentado enseñar español a personas que nunca han tenido un acercamiento con este idioma. Al tener la facilidad de comunicarme en ambos idiomas, puedo explicar tanto inglés como en español, o viceversa, todo según las necesidades del estudiante.

Me gusta mucho enseñar, soy muy paciente, comprensiva y creativa. También me gusta mucho jugar. Mi experiencia como profesora presencial ha sido enseñando artes plásticas en escuelas y otros espacios informales, como voluntaria. He trabajado con niños desde los 6 años, y con jóvenes hasta 17 años. También he tenido experiencias enseñando artes a adultos. I like teaching very much, I am very patient, understanding and creative. I also like to play a lot. My experience as a classroom teacher has been teaching fine arts in schools and other informal spaces, as a volunteer. I have worked with children, with young people and also with adults.

Yo como profesora me considero una persona muy creativa y dinámica a la hora de realizar los espacios de aprendizaje. De forma sencilla para que mis estudiantes tengan muy claros los conceptos y estructuras que deben manejar a la hora de dominar el idioma. Mi foco es que manejen la gramática y pronunciación de manera fluida.

Me gusta escuchar a mi estudiante para conocerlo y así poder preparar mucho mejor las clases. Me gusta mucho sonreir y soy muy paciente pues sé que aprender un idioma no es tarea fácil.

Aprender un nuevo idioma no debería ser complicado o aburrido, así que como tu tutora me encargaré de que tu experiencia de aprendizaje sea agradable y divertida.Para mejorar tus habilidades podemos tener conversaciones sobre diferentes temas de interés: cultura, gastronomía, música, deportes, ¡lo que tu quieras! Seré muy paciente contigo y te felicitaré por tus logros, corregiré con respeto los errores que tal vez cometas, ¡será un proceso que disfrutaremos mucho! Haremos uso de lecturas, vídeos e imágenes que te ayuden a despejar y eliminar todas tus dudas, ampliar tu vocabulario y mejorar tu gramatica.

I have more than ten years of experience teaching Spanish both at university and at secondary level. I hold Qualified Teacher Status in modern foreign languages and I also have a MA with distinction in English studies. Teaching language has given me the privilege to inspire my students to look at the world with different eyes, and to be the facilitator of the invaluable skill that it is to learn a different language. During my career I have successfully influenced many people’s lives; some of my students have become language teachers themselves and others have relocated to Spanish speaking countries.

The 5-years of Education, the 480-hours Spanish Teaching Certification which I received, and my two years of experience teaching English to native Spanish speakers and four years of experience teaching non-native Spanish speakers from France, South Korea, and the United States, among others, have made me very aware of the importance of a high-quality, communicative, supportive and motivational environment as the foundation of students’ success in Spanish learning.

El español siempre me ha interesado mucho. Vivir en diferentes países y tener que traducirme para que la gente me entendiera, aunque habláramos la misma lengua, me fascinaba. Por eso estudié la carrera de Filología Hispánica en la Universidad de Salamanca. Cuando terminé hice un master de Literatura española e hispanoamericana, y después estudié otro master de traducción en la Universidad de Málaga. Este cariño por el español me ha impulsado a enseñarlo a más personas, y por eso estoy aquí.

Je suis professeur d’espagnol et de français avec une expérience de plus de 5 ans dans l'enseignement des langues étrangères. Suite à mes 3 ans de travail à l'Alliance française j'ai acquis une forte expérience dans l'enseignement du FLE aux adultes et aux enfants. L'année passée dans deux lycées à Lille, France, a renforcé mon expérience comme professeur de langue et a élargi mon horizon professionnel notamment, dans l'enseignement du français et de l'espagnol à distance.

Creo que cada estudiante es diferente y es por eso que cada una de mis clases es planeada de acuerdo al nivel, necesidad y objetivo de cada estudiante. As a teacher I am patient, friendly and fun.
