I am graduated in Education from a private university of Lima Peru and I also had teaching training in Colorado Springs, CO, USA where I also worked as an Interpreter and Translator. According to my 20 years of experience one of the most challenging areas of learning is Listening Comprehension so I emphasize that with my students. We practice Speaking from the first lesson and Grammar and Reading exercises. I have a lot of resources that includes flash cards, audios and videos. I am very patient, understanding and very flexible about students needs or requests. So if you want a session with me, just schedule in my calendar and I will be very glad to help you to be fluent.

Me gusta saber si tienes dudas/preguntas sobre el idioma, independientemente del tema y forma que elijamos para practicarlo. Corrijo los errores que veo o escucho, y las dinámicas podemos planearlas entre ambos. Durante toda mi vida tomé clases de gramática del Español, y decidí ser profesora porque me gusta ayudar a las personas a sobresalir y mejorar sus cualidades. Disfruto de conocer a mis estudiantes, pues así podemos diseñar el método más adecuado para ti. Me encantan las clases dinámicas, que te vayas con una experiencia agradable, pero más que nada con los conocimientos fijos para que reconozcas tus avances en el aprendizaje, y que puedas implementarlos cuando quieras.

Languages have always been a part of my life. I started studying English when I was little, and I continued learning different languages on my own throughout the years until it eventually became my job. Nowadays I divide my time working as a translator, teaching, and reading lots of books! During the 5 years that I've been on Italki I've gained a huge amount of experience, having taught more than 1,000 lessons. Ten la confianza de hablar conmigo sobre tus metas, y si ya eres mi alumno y tienes nuevas metas también házmelas saber. Mi método de enseñanza se basa principalmente en la conversación, para que pierdas el miedo de hablar en español por medio de la práctica, dependiendo de tu nivel nos enfocaremos en perfeccionar tu pronunciación, gramática, lectura y escritura (si deseas), dependiendo de tus intereses y tus metas.

I think that having a good time while learning is a powerfull way to involve you with a new language. I always try to make my classes the most interesting posible and of course make the student to feel as confortable as posible with everything. Me as a Teacher I started to work as a teacher some years ago preparing students for Spanish exams. Also, I have taught English in a private school in Chile. Recently, I have done training for Spanish teachers in Instituto Cervantes ELE (español como lengua extranjera). I also hold a certificate as a DELE examiner level B1-B2. awarded by Instituto Cervantes, Dublin.

I decided to become a teacher cause I love to teach and learn languages. I worked as a private Spanish teacher here in Korea, Japan and Canada. Also I worked in a language academy in Japan and as translator. Decidí ser profesor de español porque me encanta enseñar y aprender idiomas. He trabajado de profesor privado en Corea, Japón y Canadá. Además de haber trabajado en una escuela de idiomas y de traductor en Japón

Me gusta ir despacio, prefiero afirmar y reafirmar los conocimientos, pues, es sabido que luego de las 12 horas de haber aprendido algo nuevo se borra de nuestra memoria y por lo tanto debemos retornar y afirmar con nuevos trabajos los contenidos enseñados. Soy una apasionada de la profesión y lo hago con muchísimo gusto, disfruto dar clases.

I help them to make their dreams related with the Spanish language come true (i.e. find a Spanish speaking partner, move to Spain or South America, work in Spanish-speaking companies, communicate with Spanish-speaking business partners).

I think the most important part of teaching is human interaction. It is very important to me to place students in a comfortable and trusting environment. It is also very important that you speak ... the more you speak, the more mistakes I can find and the more new expressions and pronunciation tips that can be taught. I am patient and friendly: the main and most important reason to take this type of lesson is to find an opportunity to practice. So you need someone who is understanding, who you don't feel embarrassed to talk to, especially if you are a beginner. THAT´S ME!
