I am enthusiastic in what I do and love to share little tips here and there that will compliment my students' language learning habits in general, should they be looking for advice. I will find different ways to explain a concept and understand how to energize my lessons through new material. I am very patient and determined to only offer the best to help students reach their goals, whether beginner or advanced. I offer German/English conversation lessons for all levels as well as Italian and Spanish classes for beginner-intermediate levels. Note: While I do like emphasizing conversation, I know that many students will have different preferences and learning styles. Therefore I am flexible!

Tengo más de cinco años de experiencia como maestra de educación artística lo cuál me ha ayudado a desarrollar más habilidades de las que creí ocupar al comenzar mi carrera profesional. He aprendido a planear un rumbo para llegar a una meta y al mismo tiempo descubrir que se pueden tomar otros caminos para llegar más rápido, también sé ponerme en el lugar de mis estudiantes en este proceso de aprendizaje por el que ellos están pasando, ya que he experimentado el aprender un nuevo idioma y la satisfacción de conversar con personas nativas durante este aprendizaje. Me considero una profesora flexible y empática con mis alumnos, pero ante todo: perseverante durante todo su proceso.

Soy muy paciente y me gusta enfocarme en la correcta pronunciación de las palabras. Considero que es necesario utilizar herramientas interactivas para ver el aprendizaje como una experiencia divertida y enriquecedora. Tengo experiencia enseñando español a personas de diferentes edades y países, tales como Brazil, Estados unidos e Inglaterra.

As a teacher I like to give 110% in every lesson because it's important to me that my students learn something at the end of the day and feel satisfied and proud of their efforts. Me encanta aprender y leer sobre métodos de aprendizaje, actualmente estoy aprendiendo ruso como tercer idioma. Creo que el conocimiento es para compartirlo y enseñar es el mejor regalo que podemos darle a otras personas. I love languages -I speak Spanish, English, and Portuguese- and for the last years I´d been preparing myself to teach Spanish as a Second language, with professional tutors.

Inicialmente pretendo que mis estudiantes estén en un espacio cómodo donde sientan la libertad de expresarse libremente, a su vez trato de identificar sus necesidades particulares, y cuales son las áreas a mejorar, de esta forma podemos enfocar las lecciones en esos aspectos, mediante una conversación dinámica y entretenida, puedo hablar de una forma clara y paciente para explicar y resolver las dudas que se presenten.

Me gusta satisfacer las necesidades del alumno, poder responder sus inquietudes y hacerlo de una manera divertida. Mis clases son personalizadas según los intereses de cada alumno. Mi primera experiencia como profesora fue antes de terminar mi carrera, tenía a cargo unas tutorias a compañeros de semestres menos avanzados que el mio. Cuando me gradué tuve la oportunidad de dictar clases en una universidad de carreras intermedias en Bogotá, Colombia; fue mi primer empleo como profesional, además de poner en práctica mis conocimientos, descubrí mi gusto y habilidades por la enseñanza. Durante el resto de mi recorrido laboral, siempre he tenido dentro de mis funciones el rol de capacitar personas sobre los procesos, experiencia o conocimientos que he desarrollado. Considero que mi dedicación, responsabilidad y amor por esta labor, son aspectos fundamentales para el éxito

Además de ser hablante nativo mi objetivo es que aprendas español de una manera sencilla, hice un curso para estar preparada para enseñar español a extranjeros, por lo que tengo el conocimiento del lenguaje y del proceso de enseñanza. Como profesor considero que soy paciente, me encanta explicar y compartir los temas que conozco. Cuando es necesario me gusta entrar a detalle, investigar y entender el porque de las cosas. Disfruto preparar mis clases, siempre estoy dispuesta a aprender y me siento muy feliz y realizada cuando las personas aprenden y quedan satisfechas después de que les he explicado algún tema.

Abierto a la comunicación, me gusta tratar a mis alumnos como me gustaría que lo hicieran conmigo, cuando soy el estudiante normalmente tengo muchas preguntas pero a veces es difícil preguntar, por esta razón me gusta abrir y fortalecer mis canales de comunicación con mis estudiantes para facilitar el aprendizaje. Pretendo que toda duda que surge en la clase sea resuelta de inmediato, permitiendo que el estudiante avance y vea los frutos de sus esfuerzos con garantía.

In my classes I am very patient and I try to keep my students motivated, because languages are important tools that will give them great opportunities in life. I think pronunciation is very important, so I can be very helpful when it comes to learning the pronunciation. I like making my classes fun, I have my own material and I always try to give my students exactly what they want: grammar instructions, more vocabulary or conversation practice.Also I always try to be fun and I intend to be innovative. So I use fun excercises to write and speak. I always look forward to improving my teaching style because I want to be an excellent teacher and person.
