I have six months at a formal job teaching English and Spanish and 2 years of informal tutoring, I became a teacher because I've always liked to help people understand each other and themselves better; I believe teaching a foreign language and a different culture is one way to do that.

I lived and studied in Argentina for some years, obtaining a bachelor´s degree in Arts, a certification to teach Spanish, and a successful experience helping people worldwide to become fluent in Spanish. Me enfoco principalmente en practicas de conversación ya que me parece muy importante que las personas se puedan comunicar en español de la manera mas fácil posible, durante las conversaciones tomo nota de lo que los alumnos necesitan mejorar y hago las correcciones necesarias. I consider myself a very supportive and patient teacher. My sessions are centered in the student, therefore I bring them company, guide and support, but they are the only protagonists who must construct their own knowlegde of the target language in the way that is most convenient for them, that's why, I like being someone very flexible, who gets adapted to the student needs, with the only aim to make it easier and enjoyable this long and not always very easy process of foreing language acquisition. Like in any other profession, being up to date is very important, so participating in trainings that help teachers to improve their performance in class are always part of my schedule.

I'm a full time language tutor. I started teaching Spanish in 2014 and since then I have taught people from many different countries and of all ages. I love the fact that learning a language allows us to take part in the culture/s that have it at their centre. and I truly enjoy helping people who are interested in learning my native language. I feel comfortable teaching teenagers as well as adults of all ages, and do my best to help you stay on track and motivated. I have some experience teaching english to acquaintances and as a translator as well. I'm from Colombia so Spanish is my native language.

I started teaching Spanish in my travels in Europe, exchanging classes for accommodation and the experience was so good that I decided to become a teacher. With time, I perfected myself and today I dedicate exclusively to my passions: writing, traveling and teaching Spanish. For 5 years I have been teaching private Spanish in person and online to foreigners living in Buenos Aires, people who came for pleasure or to study and need to learn Spanish and take the DELE exams to enter the University.
