I don't believe there is only one proper way of teaching and learning so my teaching is adaptive and imaginative. I encourage critical thinking in my classroom and create a supportive atmosphere where students feel comfortable to open up and practice their language skills. My experience in learning English started when I was five and for sure it will never end. I have been teaching English for over 20 years, and Macedonian and Serbian for about 5 years. My classes are student centered, so my priority is to assess what the students need and what their learning style is. Once I find out what is important for the students, I tailor my lessons to them and personalize my instruction. The most important factor for me in learning languages is to enjoy and have fun during the process.

Именно поэтому в преподавании самым главным для меня является индивидуальный подход к каждому в отдельности взятому студенту. Если преподаватель не слушает сердцем, как же он может понимать того, кто перед ним, а если он его не понимает, то как общается? Ведь даже элементарное общение невозможно без того, чтобы открытыми были не только уши, но в первую очередь - открытым было сердце, тем более, когда речь идёт о преподавании - обмене знаниями, процессе применения изученного, развития навыков и их усовершенствования.

As a non-native English speaker, I am aware of all the steps that make a journey of learning English and I am ready to give out tips and tricks that made my studying easier and a lot more fun! I have 3 years of experience in online English tutoring, and therefore I can safely say I am a very flexible and communicative person and can adapt to my students' learning styles. I have a Master degree in the English language and literature, with French being my second language, and I have amassed over six years of teaching experience. I have mostly been teaching online and working with people from different cultures, but I also have significant experience in teaching in actual brick-and-mortar schools. It is my belief that a language teacher does not only teach grammar and vocabulary, but also serves as a guide through culture and values of the people who speak that language. As a little girl I learned English through cartoons, and at the age of 7 I already started learning English at school. My further education, Law school, travels and meeting people from different countries have helped me to understand various accents. Because of my passion of meeting people, learning their cultures and customs I have decided to start a new journey as an iTalki tutor. I am gonna do my best to make sure that my classes don't get boring and that you learn as much as possible in the short period of time,

I am very communicative and understanding, also I am used to working with people, listening, and helping them improve themselves. I want to motivate my students to learn the language by talking about things they love and exploring new themes throughout lessons. Help them widen their vocabulary and start talking naturally. I will do research on my student's interests after our first lesson and getting to know each other so in our next lesson I can guide them to say what's on their mind without worrying about the complexity of their sentences. The most important thing is that my students enjoy my lessons and have fun in the whole learning process.

I am a flexible teacher because I understand that all students learn in different ways and at different paces. When teaching, I make sure that every student has a grasp of the subject before moving on. I also adapt my lesson plans based on a feedback.

I like to focus my lessons on my student's interests. I believe that the best way to learn a language is to learn the vocabulary that is focused on your personal interests, and to expand from there. Having quite a bit of experience in learning languages (English, French, German and Japanese) I hope to share the tips and tricks which I have picked up.
