Hello everyone! My name is Anita. My biggest passion in life is learning and teaching languages. I'm a professional teacher of Russian, English and Portuguese languages for foreign students. But I concentrate mainly on teaching Russian language as I find it immensely interesting, fascinating and rewarding. At my lessons even with beginners I try to use as much Russian words and phrases as possible, so one day without even noticing it you will be able to understand everything I say. That very day we will throw a big language party and review the case system of Russian language so to bring you down to earth a little bit ;)

I’m a native Russian speaker and qualified teacher with many years’ experience teaching Russian at the university, different language schools, and online. I can use formal and informal styles of teaching: improving your grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation for the test or doing some fun activities and talking about anything you’d like to. I mainly work with adults but I also have taught children through the games and entertaining activities. I have experience teaching Russian for specific professions such as medical workers, biologists, and marines. I prepare for the TORFL exams. I’m good at explaining things in simple terms and working at a pace that is comfortable for a student.

Since I myself have a huge experience in learning languages, so I communicated to numerous teachers and tutors, and by now I have a solid idea about what a helpful, effective language tutor should be like. First of all, the learning process should not be intimidating, but easy-going, relaxed, and joyful. This is why I encourage you to ask questions during our classes and not hesitate to suggest topics most interesting or needed for you. We will make sure that you fully understand what we are talking about before moving to the next topic. And remember - you can't practice something every day and not get better.

As well as knowledge of Spanish helps me to understand and effectively explain Russian words and expression.

Being familiar with English, German and Spanish grammar, I know very well what difficulties people speaking these languages might face as they learn Russian. To learn Russian of course you have to be persistent and focused on your goal but there is a range of methods to make this process vivid, sparkling, exciting and full of curious discoveries. Bearing in mind that learning has to be enjoyable and fulfilling, I help my students find the most effective ways to guide them through Russian.

I’ve been working as a private teacher of languages, math and physics for 25 years. I used to work in different spheres: as a teacher at school, in business education, media (newspaper, TV-channel), advertisement on TV and I have an experience in own business. Now I’m working in telecommunication industry. I also have an experience as a language learner: I studied Spanish at school, after that I was managed to learn English on my own and now I keep learning it in regular speaking with partners from various countries. Recently I started learning how to read in Greek. So it helps me in my pedagogical practice and I know the needs of the learners in foreign language and how to help them.
