If you are just starting to learn Russian, I will introduce you to my method during our first lesson. I use the best books to teach phonetics, grammar, and vocabulary while constantly communicating with a student. That way you will quickly learn to speak and read in Russian. I always focus on students’ particular requests and needs, and I adapt the materials to the student’s interests. I love supporting my students. Your learning is also my responsibility.

I am not just a qualified teacher of English Language and World literature but also I am a native Russian and Ukrainian speaker. I love these languages for their beauty and melody. I enjoy having lessons with people from all over the world and really appreciate the opportunity to share my knowledge with others. My goal is to teach students how to speak confidently and not to be afraid of making mistakes. (Because even native speakers often make them :) )

Я работала год в языковой школе в Чехии как учитель русского и английского языков. После переезда занимаюсь репетиторством онлайн, так как совмещаю с учебой на магистратуре. Я стараюсь найти общий язык с каждым студентом, поддерживать мотивацию и создавать приятную атмосферу на уроке. I worked for a year at a language school in the Czech Republic as a teacher of Russian and English. After moving, I am tutoring online, as I combine it with my studies at the magistracy. I try to get on well with each student, keep motivated and create a pleasant atmosphere during the lessons.

I teach Russian (general/technical/business) and general English, including, reading, speaking and writing; also, focusing on pronunciation and conversation skills. Recently, I have excelled at IETLS exam (my overall band score was 8.0), so I understand how it feels to learn a new language. I used Italki for my exam preparation, so I’d say, that by far it is the most productive way to learn a new language. I do enjoy general conversations as well, and am curious by nature so I always have many questions to keep the conversation going.

Heads up – I am a strict teacher! No slagging, no "I-can't's". Everyone can learn a language. I work with students who are motivated, who know why they learn and who really want to see results. This means intense practice during classes and homework. If you don't have time for homework, please let me know and we will find a solution together. >> For General lessons I normally use a textbook (or several textbooks) as the basis. We work with GoogleDocs, recordings, YouTube videos and other materials as necessary. >> Conversational Classes are free flow. >> During Interpreting/Translation classes we learn to make glossaries and work with videos, recordings, texts and speeches.

As a teacher, it is very important for me to make sure my students take pleasure in learning a language and don't feel stressed or bored, and make progress at the same time. I have a master's degree in linguistics apart from being a teacher for over 4 years now, and I've always been very understanding with my students. What's more, I'm a student myself (Spanish, yay!) and I can totally relate to how one feels at their first steps of learning.

I started to teach when I was 19 and I never regret about this professional choice. My youngest student was 6, my oldest one - 72 when they firstly came into classroom.
