My name is Anna, I’m a language teacher and a professional musician. I can hardly imagine my day without language studying or teaching! My first bachelor's degree is in foreign languages . The second degree is in music. Besides I have 3 TEFL certificates. Here I am to teach you English or Russian. I also teach Danish (beginners only). Heads up – I am a strict teacher! No slagging, no "I-can't's". Everyone can learn a language. I work with students who are motivated, who know why they learn and who really want to see results. This means intense practice during classes and homework. If you don't have time for homework, please let me know and we will find a solution together. >> For General lessons I normally use a textbook (or several textbooks) as the basis. We work with GoogleDocs, recordings, YouTube videos and other materials as necessary. >> Conversational Classes are free flow. >> During Interpreting/Translation classes we learn to make glossaries and work with videos, recordings, texts and speeches.

Being familiar with English, German and Spanish grammar, I know very well what difficulties people speaking these languages might face as they learn Russian. To learn Russian of course you have to be persistent and focused on your goal but there is a range of methods to make this process vivid, sparkling, exciting and full of curious discoveries. Bearing in mind that learning has to be enjoyable and fulfilling, I help my students find the most effective ways to guide them through Russian.

Learning a language should be interesting and fun. Lessons with me should motivate you to work harder on your goal. I prepare a set of interactive keynotes that form the backbone of our course. It means that it does not matter if you are just starting or if you want to improve your vocabulary and conversational skills. My lessons are structured and I always create and share a clear plan of our lessons for achieving results. My goal is that learning new languages would become your new hobby.

I’ve experienced the benefit of learning language with a native speaker (I continue to learn Turkish every day), and I hope to be in use to someone who wants to learn my native tong. Motivation and regularity are the engines of progress. But these two things are only up to you. As for me – I will try to make the learning enjoyable. Do you have a favourite book or movie? Let's watch it together, write down the phrases you could use in life and discuss it. Or I can prepare the list of top 5 Ukrainian or Russian music treck (if you tell me your favourite genre). I have pedagogical education in the field of teaching languages. I have been working as a teacher for 8 years so far. Mostly, I work with teenagers and adults of different levels (beginners, A1-C2). I worked at school, at university, at a language school; as a tutor; at the lycée in Europe I am a patient teacher who gives the opportunity to think and correct the mistakes by students themselves without any pressure or interruption. For me it is important to see the progress students make and their aspiration for learning.

As a teacher, I have some experience, I taught Russian from scratch, I will also help in learning the Azerbaijani language!

Since I myself have a huge experience in learning languages, so I communicated to numerous teachers and tutors, and by now I have a solid idea about what a helpful, effective language tutor should be like. First of all, the learning process should not be intimidating, but easy-going, relaxed, and joyful. This is why I encourage you to ask questions during our classes and not hesitate to suggest topics most interesting or needed for you. We will make sure that you fully understand what we are talking about before moving to the next topic. And remember - you can't practice something every day and not get better.

Working with students I try to follow their interests. When choosing teaching materials I usually prefer latest researches, blogs, and other sourses that correspond to my students' interests.

I have been working on italki for 3 years. My schedule is quite limited, i had already about 200 lessons. I have been working in China for last 2 years teaching English and Russian. My Spanish needs some correction, my Portuguese is just intermediate but i do understand a lot. I am quite comfortable to explain everything in English. My Chinese needs years of studying hahaha
