I am a Cambridge University certified English tutor / lecturer, a linguist and a translator with 20 years of experience at different educational establishments (state and private schools, language courses and my students' private premises). I am a graduate from University of Foreign Languages and College of European Languages. Currently I study at Moscow State Pedagogical University to get qualification as a teacher of Russian as a FL. Именно поэтому в преподавании самым главным для меня является индивидуальный подход к каждому в отдельности взятому студенту. Если преподаватель не слушает сердцем, как же он может понимать того, кто перед ним, а если он его не понимает, то как общается? Ведь даже элементарное общение невозможно без того, чтобы открытыми были не только уши, но в первую очередь - открытым было сердце, тем более, когда речь идёт о преподавании - обмене знаниями, процессе применения изученного, развития навыков и их усовершенствования.

Меня интересуют и другие языки: по образованию я лингвист-переводчик, в университете изучала английский и немецкий языки, так что при возникновении трудностей смогу дать объяснения на этих языках. Очень хочу передать свою любовь к языку и тебе. Предпочитаю работать со взрослыми. I appreciate that I am able to read such great writers as Dostoevsky in the original. In my free time, I prefer to read fiction, go for a walk (I live in one of the most beautiful cities in the world - St. Petersburg), watch informative videos on YouTube, paint pictures by numbers. I am also interested in other languages: I am a linguist-translator by education, I studied English and German at the university.

At formal lessons I work with various textbooks as well as with my own materials. We can focus mostly on communication and listening comprehension or choose a more general approach towards learning. At informal conversation classes I make you talk as much as possible asking you lots of questions and correcting you in the Skype chat or in a Google Docs file so that you're able to review everything on your own afterwards. I can also make extra voice recordings if asked.

I prefer to use a communicative approach in the process of learning language. My lessons are based on your interests and needs. During our lessons we can focus on a certain type of the four foundational skills of language learning, in which you have difficulties: reading, writing, speaking and listening.

I have a master's degree in teaching Russian as a foreign language. Also, I have work experience with foreign students so I not only know the Russian language well but know how to teach Russian in a funny and productive way.

It won't be boring. We will talk a lot, discuss various topics. I love talking about movies , books, travel, the environment, and what's going on in the world. Each lesson will focus on grammar, pronunciation, and vocabulary. During the lesson, I can bring everything you need for interesting classes: pictures, audio recordings, videos, articles from magazines , everything that you will be interested in to start a conversation. Let's deal with the pronunciation, vocabulary. I'll help you succeed!

I teach English, Arabic, Russian and Spanish at all levels. I put particular emphasis on speaking, even though I always give my students a solid grammar basis so that they can form creative sentences even right from the start when they have fairly limited vocabulary.

My passion is to help people achieve their language goals. I have been teaching adults and children since 2011 and have had a lot of experience in this area. I got my translator's degree in 2013 and passed international exams such as IELTS, DELE, DELF, Goethe-Zertifikat.
