I am an English teacher with 16 oficial years experience in that field. The age of my students has ranged from 3 to 60 years old. I have two bachelor`s degrees one in teaching and the other one in finance. Also I have completed levels one to three of "Teaching English as a Foreign Language" TEFL certification from The United States of America . Having learned English and Spanish I have my own experience of overcoming the language barrier. So I know how to overcome it fast. Trust me I can teach you too!!!

In my class I pay attention to all necessary activities as - speaking, - pronounsiation, - listening comprehension, - writing, - reading, - systematising grammar. I focus on my student's needs and do my best to make learning process easy and fascinating.

I am always ready to listen and support. With me you don't have to be afraid to make a mistake ! I’ll become a language psychotherapist for you, everything said in the lesson will remain between us) I am a supporter of a natural conversation, so do not expect boring lessons from a textbook. I offer lessons for adults who already have existing basic grammatical knowledge, those who need to improve their spoken language or improve their listening comprehension.

I prefer to focus on speaking skills above all. In my opinion, the fastest way to improve your language skill is to speak as much as possible. Я предпочитаю фокусироваться, прежде всего, на разговорных навыках. На мой взгляд, самый быстрый способ улучшить свои языковые навыки - это как можно больше говорить.

I teach both Russian and Ukrainian at all levels including children. I specialise in Medicine; additionally, I can help you with grammar and conversational skills. I also understand the difficulties a new language. I use a wide range of books and materials that will help you to achieve your goals.

По образованию я преподаватель. Окончила на отлично колледж (учитель младших классов с дополнительно подготовкой в области иностранного языка), а затем университет (лингвист, преподаватель). В университете я изучала теорию и практику преподавания иностранных языков и культур. Выбрала эту профессию, так как мне интересен язык, разные культуры и народы. Я люблю путешествовать, узнавать новое и быть полезной другим людям, давать знания. Изучая новый язык, мы создаем новые нейронные связи в нашем мозге, заставляем его работать по-другому. Это делает нас более развитыми, быстрыми и интересными.

I have graduated from Petrozavodsk State University with two majors English and Teaching Techniques. As well as this, I have a certificate to teach Russian as foreign language. I have school based experience from Russian and Danish schools. For 8 years I have been working as a private tutor teaching kids and adults, creating special programs for them which would meet their goals and interests, help them improve their language level and prepare for language exams and interviews.

I love to be engaging as much as it is possible. I orient on your aims, your level and most of all - the things you love doing. I strongly believe that the mix of this love and conversational practice makes the best results. Also, I try to listen carefully to every student and understand what is the best method, the best approach is suitable for him/her. I will do my best to make the lessons enjoyable, interesting and interactive in order to get fast results.

Achievements of my students: 1. One of my students entered Middlebury Language School with the highest score in Russian this year. I helped her with tests and interviews. In the future, she is planning to teach Russian in the university herself. 2. More than 40 students already visited Russia and Ukraine as tourists after learning from me. Some of them found here their future spouses. 3. I help my students to reduce their accent and I also worked as an accent trainer for an American TV show (the show was about spies). 4. 2 of my students applied for The Fulbright scholarship program, and both of them won the contest. They start learning from me as beginners, now they work and live in Russia.

I plan all my lessons ahead of time and pay a lot of attention to the students' individual preferences. My goal is to help students overcome the language barrier and feel more comfortable when speaking. I can also help you to understand grammar and improve your writing.

My passion is to help people achieve their language goals. I have been teaching adults and children since 2011 and have had a lot of experience in this area. I got my translator's degree in 2013 and passed international exams such as IELTS, DELE, DELF, Goethe-Zertifikat.

As a teacher, it is very important for me to make sure my students take pleasure in learning a language and don't feel stressed or bored, and make progress at the same time. I have a Master's degree in Linguistics and teaching Russian as a second language, now I'm studying for my PhD. I’ve been teaching since 2008, for these years I had an experience to prepare students in Russian universities, teaching at school in China, on courses in Europe, prepared people for exams in Uzbekistan and having online practice. My goal is to make hard parts of the language easier to understand and to make impossible possible. I like to create new teaching methods that's why I regularly participate in professional webinars and courses. I deeply believe that only a passionate teacher can inspire students, so I will do my best to show you how wonderful Russian language is.
