The best online Korean lessons

My current experience of teaching Korean was at ICP Language academy and SAEM Korean center in Vietnam for 3 years.I normally teach Korean TOPIK I,II and Korean speaking conversation in academy, and I am now teaching online.

Currently I teach Korean at private academy here in mexico. But I am extremly excited to start teaching on Italki <Spanish> En este momento doy classes de coreano en una academia aqui en Mexico. Y ahora estoy muy emocionada de poder enseñar aqui en italki.

When I was in university, I helped exchange students to adapt well in Korea. I hung out with them once a week and tried to communicate in Korean as much as possible. I corrected their sentences immediately and taught some fun Korean slangs. Also, I'm currently helping my coworker in Singapore by teaching her business Korean. I review her email and give feedback sentence by sentence. We chat in Korean every day like a friend. So I think I have excellent rapport with people making them speak up more. Since I'm a very passionate person with a huge responsibility, you will not only feel comfortable but also learn a lot from me.

I'm a member of my University Korean Society, and I love teaching people about Korean culture and language! This is my main motivation for becoming a teacher. Learning a language as an adult can be difficult and stressful. This is why my lessons are in a relaxed and calm environment; so that my student can develop confidence and enjoy themselves! It’s been 8 years after I became a Korean teacher. All this while, I’ve worked for a few of the most renowned language institutes in Singapore and in Malaysia. I have been tutoring Korean since when I studied at university. I had many opportunities to meet foreign students and to teach them Korean. Also, I have taught Korean to Russian employees at Korean companies. I know about the struggles of learning new languages, I have been through that process. The biggest thing I realized during tutoring and learning new languages is that the alphabet, basic grammar, writing and reading are all important, but the most important thing is to enjoy learning with confidence.

Before I call myself a teacher, I'm a lifelong learner. I struggled with English at school. Years of learning but still was not able to hold a conversation. So what made me change? You can't expect someone to learn a language through random grammar or irrelevant vocabularies. How much do you think it would serve when you actually talk to people? It's about making personal connection. This is what I realised when I nearly got my passport stolen while traveling Egypt. It made me speak, initiate and argue. I cared nothing but the conversation to deal with it. From then, I completely changed the way I learn. I'd like you to have the same attitude, like an angry backpacker!

미국에서 k-pop, k-drama를 좋아하는 친구들에게 한국어를 가르쳐주었어요. 그들이 쉽게 이해할 수 없었던 단어와 한국 slag에 대해 설명해 주었습니다. 한국에 대해 설명해주는 것은 자랑스러웠고 더 많은 것을 알려주고 싶습니다. I taught Korean to my friends who like K-pop and K-drama in the U.S. I explained the words that they couldn't understand easily and the Korean slag. I was proud of explaining about Korea and I want to tell you more.
