The best online Korean lessons

I've been teaching students via Zoom (Web-cam) and experienced a 1:1 and group class. Also, i'd like to give you some feedback.

As a native Korean, teaching Korean to foreign friends is really fun and exciting. So I’ve been trying to improve my teaching skills as a professional Korean teacher.

I am a patient and understanding teacher. I know it is hard to learn a second language as I also put my effort into learning English. As a teacher, I make sure to listen to my students. I will be flexible but I will also make sure you improve your Korean skills with each lesson. I will make sure we have a fun vibe in the class, too!

I want you to have FUN in my class. We shall have classes based on your interests so you can talk about yourself in Korean. I will always go at the same pace as you and help you in any way I am able to.

My current experience of teaching Korean was at ICP Language academy and SAEM Korean center in Vietnam for 3 years.I normally teach Korean TOPIK I,II and Korean speaking conversation in academy, and I am now teaching online.

I have organized and participate in a language meet-up in Korea, which is called 'Language Cast Busan'. The participants were from all over the world. Most of them were interested in learning Korean. As an organizer and participant, I used to help the people in answering their questions regarding Korean.

I am a Canadian certified teacher. I also have my B.A in Linguistics as well as diplomas in Early Child Education and TESOL. I have been working in many different school settings including public/private schools and one on one/group tutoring. I am also a mom of busy children, and that let me very patient in teaching anyone. 여러 국가에서 다양한 연령대와 레벨을 가진 학생분들을 많이 상대했습니다. 언어교육뿐만 아니라, 유아교육과 평생교육학도 공부하면서 각기 다른 특성의 학습자들을 더 잘 이해할수 있도록 연구하고 있습니다.

I have Over 1400 hours of classroom experience and 5 years of teaching Korean in Colleges : Korea University, Konkuk University, EF SEOUL campus. I'm working on my Master's degree(Korean Language Education) in Korea University

First of all, I majored in elementary education which teaches all kind of subjects to elementary kids. Therefore, since I was 20, I've taught various age groups from 5 years old kid to adults. The languages I taught were mainly Korean, English, and Chinese characters(한자). I have an experience staying in Canada when I was little, so I can speak English as well. Also, I used to help many foreign students in my college so that they can learn Korean language and culture. I enjoyed it very much, and that's why I like being a Korean teacher in Italki. I have 5 years of teaching on Italki and extra 2 years of teaching experience outside this platform. Hence I have plentiful of teaching experience for those who are both beginner and advance level students. I like to have casual, FUN lessons through conversations in Korean and learning new vocabulary/grammar, etc. My lessons are based on what students need or want. (For those who prepare for Korean efficiency test i.e. Topik) I am not a strict teacher. There is absolutely no need to worry about making mistakes as I believe it to be the key to successful language learning.

While living in Canada I have given and continue to give personal Korean lessons to my spouse and friends helping them grasp the basics of the common language. 캐나다에서 생활하는 동안 저의 배우자와 가족, 친구들에게 한국어를와 문화를 알려주고 이해하도록 도와주는 일에 보람을 느꼈습니다.

I helped my friends in many countries to learn Korean. And while studying English and Vietnamese, I found out what makes me feel difficult while studying language. I want to give practical help from this experience. I'll let you know what you're curious about.

I'm a member of my University Korean Society, and I love teaching people about Korean culture and language! This is my main motivation for becoming a teacher. Learning a language as an adult can be difficult and stressful. This is why my lessons are in a relaxed and calm environment; so that my student can develop confidence and enjoy themselves! Whilst my lessons are fun, I strive to make them valuable to my student. Together we can improve your language skills effectively and efficiently! Finally, I place a strong emphasis on flexibility and make a strong effort to adapt to students needs and individual interests.

When I was in high school, I had a homestay with an American friend and a Japanese friend when I was in middle school. I introduced the local characteristics and traditional manners of Korea to them and I taught them about Korea. Even in simple sentences, we talked as much as we could, and I helped them get used to Korean. To learn a language, I think it is most important not to be afraid of mistakes. Listening and doing a lot is the way to improve your Korean. I will help you learn Korean like your friends.

I am more specialized in the grammar, and building my teaching experience with above intermediate learners. Because I found that beginning learners can learn much efficiently from their mother-tongue speaking teachers, I started to focus on upper learners. Me as a teacher, I am quite obsessed with teaching Korean language and that drove me to continue learning more in Korean study and become a researcher.

I am currently taking a program to become a government certified teacher. I have experience of teaching children in USA for about 2 years and I really enjoyed it. I like to motivate my students, mostly let my student solve the problems and challenges alone because I believe in that way students can practice more with the grammar, but I am happy to help my students if they find it too challenging.
