Learn Japanese with private Japanese teachers

I have taught Japanese to Australian university students, kids and adults while I was living in Australia, but I'm not a licensed teacher. I know how difficult it is to master a language. Now I'm fluent in English. I can share how I master the language with you.

I consider myself to be a patient, supportive and diligent person. I focus on my student's goals and try as much as possible to work towards achieving them. Also, I want my students to feel comfortable and relaxed to ask for help. So don’t worry about making mistakes in my class. I am more than happy to help you to improve your Japanese and give you confidence to speak Japanese.

I have two certificates. ◆The Japanese Language Teaching Competency Test. ◆The Japanese Language Teacher Training Course (420 hours above.) My lesson is a little rarity. As I'm an actor, I've been teaching language including acting know-how. In order to play-acting, It use not only words but also gesture, facial expression and voice tone and so on. In order to communicate with foreigners, same as them. So, it's important that not only study language but also learning various things. “Let's do a role play!” You can learn a lot of new vocabularies and natural expressions through change roles and emotions. Japanese is a language that change greatly depending on them. That textbooks can not.

I have lived in Thailand for 6 years. While exchanging languages with Thai pharmacists and staff at the pharmacy at work, I became interested in Japanese language education and began to study in earnest. I am not an uncompromisingly person. Therefore, I am happy to change the class style depending on the student. There is one thing that I recommend as a teacher is to learn Japanese by using Japanese language. I understand it is hard for some people. However, I would like to try them as much as possible, because this challenge helps them a lot in the future.

I have taught Japanese as a second language to hundreds of people in both group and private lessons of all ages, including high school students (The Victorian Certificate of Education in Australia). I’ve been teaching many years and so my text books have been well used especially the beginner ones. I also have a lot of experience in preparing students for JLPT exams from N5 to N1. I have always tried to provide a comfortable and encouraging environment in my class. I adapt the pace of progress to the students.

Although I have never formally trained in teaching language, I have voluntarily taught Japanese for many years. I’ve attended to language exchange lessons in Toronto and New York and taught Japanese to people from all over the world (e.g. American, Canadian, Russian, Polish, German, Chinese, Korean, Indian etc.) from very beginners to fluent people. I made close friends who learn Japanese and we always asked and taught each other when I was studying English. One of my best friends is an American and he still asks me about the Japanese language even after he moved to Japan.
