Take online Italian lessons with italki tutors

Sono tutor d'italiano da più di 6 mesi su italki (anche se ho avuto altre esperienze in precedenza) e ho avuto la fortuna di crescere continuamente seguendo alcuni dei miei studenti fin dall'inizio del loro percorso su questa piattaforma. E' un esperienza bellissima. A proposito di questo ringrazio con il cuore Linda, bravissima studentessa francese da cui ogni giorno imparo; sì, imparo perché quello con lo studente lo considero un viaggio con uno splendido compagno. Sai qual'è l'aspetto che più amo d'insegnare come tutor su italki? L'incontro con altre persone. Ora più che mai mi rendo conto di come tutti siamo interconnessi e di come siano affascinanti le persone ed i loro potenziali.

Currently, I work in an English Private School in Turin and I teach both English and Italian to non-native speakers. I taught English to toddlers (0-3 years old) in a private nursery. In addition, during my MA degree I was a university tutor for international students who wanted to learn and improve their Italian language skills, and I helped Italian university students to improve their English skills. Finally, I managed English courses for teenagers in summer campuses, where I held a workshop in which students had to create a comic strip with them as protagonists with dialogues written in English.

Ritengo di essere un'insegnante divertente, amichevole, semplice, ma allo stesso tempo responsabile. Mi rendo disponibile con lo scopo di aiutarti ad essere più fluente nell'italiano. Ritengo di avere pazienza, se non hai capito qualcosa sono qui per spiegartela più volte, fin quando non ti sarà chiaro.

I'll try to cater my lesson to each individual student so they are as interesting as possible because, how I could realize from my experience, is very important to be motivated to learn a language,like everything else. Another thing that I'll do is to teach you to be confident and not afraid to make mistake because it's so important for learning a language faster.

I am a very patient and positive person, I like to help people understand and organize everything in the best way possible. I love to talk about any type of topic or even answer some questions or curiosities of the student.

I've always helped my friends to learn French or Italian during my stay in France and also during my studies in Italy where I always helped foreign and Erasmus students learning Italian and English. I love to share my culture and to learn about other cultures, I really think that learning a new language is a way to connect, share and give yourself more possibilities and opportunities to reach your goals and to become a more open-minded and better person. I always try to share all of this during my lessons. That’s why I don’t like to say that I teach languages, I’d rather say that I exchange with people through the languages I speak.

As a teacher I'm very open-minded and I love to try new methods of teaching. I read a lot about education and I also experiment on myself when I'm learning a language. Whatever I find to be effective, I'll bring into the class. Of course, I also take into account what you like and what your preference is. Overall, I'm an organized teacher who likes to create a comfortable classroom so that you get the most out of our lessons without feeling scared, intimidated, or overwhelmed.

Durch mein Studium habe ich viel Erfahrung im Unterrichten. Mir ist vor allem ein vielfältiger und abwechslungsreicher Unterricht sehr wichtig. Grazie al mio studio ho tanta esperienza nell'ambito dell'insegnamento. Per me è molto importante usare metodi diversi nelle mie lezioni per rendere il tutto più efficace e interessante. I love teaching, it's something I've always wanted to do. In high school I attended Liceo classico: a specific kind of high school focused on learning Italian grammar, Italian literature, Latin, Ancient Greek, history and philosophy. That's why I've got a strong grammar basis and a deep knowledge of Italian literature as well. I think mistakes are a very important part of the learning process, you don't have to get discouraged from them.

I prepare and adapt my classes according to my students’ needs and goals. I think that it's important to find resources that interest you because language is a tool for discovery. I think it's easier to learn quickly if you're passionate and engaged with the lesson. Additionally, I am open to students bringing relevant material or conversation topics to lessons. My goal is to help you become confident when you communicate in Italian, French, German and English.

Gracias a mi formación entiendo las dificultades de aprender un idioma extranjero y los desafíos a los que se enfrenta un aprendiente. Me gusta crear un atmósfera de trabajo relajada para que mis estudiantes superen el miedo a hablar o a cometer errores y se sientan cómodos para experimentarse. También intento que mis estudiantes pasen un buen rato en las clases además de aprender.
