Mi piace l'insegnamento e vorrei mettere a frutto nell'insegnamento della lingua italiana tutta l'esperienza acquisita.

Ho già insegnato a bambini e ragazzi più piccoli di me, e da allora ho maturato esperienza. Sono un'insegnante tranquilla e paziente e cerco sempre di adattarmi al singolo studente che mi trovo davanti. Mi piace rapportarmi in modo informale ma comunque mantenendo il rapporto tra studente ed insegnante. --- I have already taught children and young people younger than myself, and since then I have gained experience. As a language learner, I know from experience that speaking is necessary to learn quickly and effectively. Most classes fall into the trap of using the same, highly ineffective, traditional teaching methods. Too much lecturing and theory leave students bored and tired. I have found a way to help my students to learn faster, and retain more information easily and quickly. My approach is based on a few fundamentals: listen and repeat, pronunciation, active thinking, spaced repetition. I believe in a flexible approach to language learning.

I've been teaching for 2 years in a high school in the morning and some language schools in the afternoon. I also gave some private classes to students that needed to improve their school marks or were preparing for the Cambridge First Certificate. Due to the fact I love studying languages myself, I feel I have the tools to understand how different people learn, and that learning should be interesting and fun. It is for this reason that I welcome suggestions and requests from students to enable me to adapt every single class towards what the student wants.

My classes are learner-centered and my role is that of a facilitator and guide during your language learning process. I use an inductive approach, so the classes will be more engaging and it will help you develop all the main skills. I love what I do, so I will always start our classes with a smile on my face!

I consider myself a language tutor. In my opinion, the best way to learn a language is to jump in and try to speak it right away, so my approach is not academic but starts from the practice of conversation. Più che un insegnante preferisco definirmi come un tutor linguistico. Credo che il modo migliore per imparare una lingua sia quello di buttarsi e provare a parlarla da subito, per questo il mio approccio non è accademico ma parte dalla pratica della conversazione.

Difficile per me parlare di un unico standard di insegnamento. Nella mia pratica didattica sono solita farmi guidare dai bisogni, dalle preferenze e dagli interessi dei miei studenti. Mi piace paragonare le mie lezioni ad un abito su misura cucito appositamente per ogni apprendente.

I've been giving online Italian lessons on a sporadic basis for three years. I've really enjoyed getting in touch with people from different cultures. I've helped students at different levels; I've delivered very basic lessons as more advanced ones. I enjoy helping both complete beginners and advanced students. I believe both scenarios present very stimulating challenges for me, and it is very rewarding to see people composing their first sentences in Italian, as it is amazing to see people language skills improve session by session.
