Quattro anni fa ho cominciato ad insegnare giapponese in Italia ai livelli A1-A2 fino all'inizio del B1 con l'obiettivo di superare esami universitari di lingua e i primi due livelli degli esami ufficiali di lingua giapponese (JLPT). In Giappone ho frequentato un'università dove c'era un dipartimento dedicato al canto lirico. Lì ho avuto modo di aiutare alcuni studenti ed insegnanti a praticare l'italiano conversando insieme. La mia laurea mi specializza nella comunicazione tra culture diverse, ma avendo come base di partenza la Linguistica ho conoscenze non specialistiche anche nell'insegnamento di una lingua straniera.

I love teaching: since I was a child I've always wanted to become a teacher. I have been teaching italian for more than two years online and in presence both individually and to groups of students. I attended a language teaching course at the Ca' Foscari University. I’m currently helping young people (from 10 to 15 years old) with English and Italian.

I have a bachelor's degree in teaching Italian and English as foreign languages and I have experience in teaching to whole school classes but also in training individual students. I really enjoy teaching one-to-one lessons because students get to talk a lot and I can tailor the lesson to every student's needs. Having learned different languages myself, I can totally understand how you feel as a language learner, and thanks to my experience with international students, I have a feeling for the most difficult topics. Therefore, I'll make the class atmosphere as relaxed as possible :)

I have been teaching Italian for three years to students of all ages. Since May 2019 I am also a CELI examiner so I can help you in preparing a certification exam (not only CELI but also CILS and PLIDA).

I've been teaching on italki since August 2019 and I also give private lessons of economics since 2 years. Over this time I developed a very flexible method, which allowed me to teach to students of any level and with different goals, preferences and needs. I usually conduct my lessons in Italian as much as I can, so you get used to it, but I can also use English if you like.

Non amo particolarmente i metodi di insegnamento tradizionali, per questo proverò a rendere il tuo apprendimento un po' più stimolante e originale. Le mie lezioni saranno informali, dinamiche e piene di riferimenti alla cultura e alla società italiana. So quanto sia difficile studiare un'altra lingua! Ecco perché sarò sempre disponibile per chiarimenti, risolvere dubbi e fare pratica con esercitazioni.

I have a master's degree in teaching at the Giovanni Pascoli School. I have been teaching Italian for many years to foreigners in Florence, working for a voluntary association, and also at the UAM (Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana) in Mexico city and Aguascalientes, Mexico. In 2017 and 2018 I taught Italian in Australia. I have shaped my teaching over time by having to teach to people from 5 to 70 in many different situations, face to face, online, in schools, in neighbourhoods, in villages, in associations, even in different kind of churches and recreational clubs, using the most effective teaching approach based on the situation.

Two more things: *I can send you a placement level test when you book a lesson in order to prepare a perfect first lesson and consequently give you the proper material before as well. *Then, if you decide to continue learning with me, we can see together and structure a long-term program using my personal material or a specific manual for Italian learners.

Ho una laurea triennale in Mediazione Linguistica e Culturale, con lo studio di inglese e spagnolo, successivamente ho scelto di specializzarmi in Didattica dell'Italiano a Stranieri e ho ottenuto la certificazione Ditals. Tramite la mia università, Università per Stranieri di Siena, ho avuto l'opportunità di fare esperienze lavorative all'estero: a Boston in una middle school, a Londra con adulti dipendenti della banche HSBCe SwISS bank, a Città del Guatemala e a Buenos Aires presso gli Istituti Italiani di Cultura, in Turchia e a Melbourne.

Vorrei darvi dei consigli per imparare l'italiano con un approccio comunicativo che favorisca la partecipazione attiva e la curiosità. Insegno francese in istituzioni scolastiche italiane dove ho imparato le moderne tecniche di insegnamento e la padronanza dei programmi scolastici. Ho insegnato presso associazioni di italiano L2 a Roma dove ho lavorato con bambini, adulti, in classi individuali, con gruppi di conversazione o corsi di preparazione agli esami ufficiali.

Our lessons are a space and time for you in which to take the risks of practicing and experimenting with the language you want to speak while receiving a kind and accurate feedback. . I make myself available for any doubts you might have between our lessons and I offer specific extra services to boost your learning process and tackle any difficulties you're facing in specific areas of the language (for example you can understand the language but you can't speak; sometimes the opposite can also occur).

Being a language learner myself, I know what are the problems that students are facing and what are the most common mistakes. I try to approach language learning in a fun way, it is important to keep motivated! It's also important to understand that if you want to learn a language you need to commit to practicing it almost on a daily basis. This doesn't mean you have to spend hours studying! you can spend just a few minutes per day just reading an article, or listening to a song or a podcast! Grammar is important, but for me, what is more important is to be able to understand the language and to communicate!
