Being a language learner myself, I know what are the problems that students are facing and what are the most common mistakes. I try to approach language learning in a fun way, it is important to keep motivated! It's also important to understand that if you want to learn a language you need to commit to practicing it almost on a daily basis. This doesn't mean you have to spend hours studying! you can spend just a few minutes per day just reading an article, or listening to a song or a podcast! Grammar is important, but for me, what is more important is to be able to understand the language and to communicate!

I have been teaching for years, inspired by my mum's work (teaching is a family thing :) As a child I used to listen to my mum teaching and that's how I soon realized that was my cup of tea as well! :D I am very patient and smiley. I love the power of words and I speak very clearly, using a large variety of words. Moreover, I am very good at telling tales and get people involved into the magic and charm of the Italian language and culture :)

My teaching style is based on communication. We discuss together goals, frequency, duration and contents. I shape my lessons to the level and the requirements of each person, in order to make the learning process quick, deep and, at the same time, interesting and fun. I love talking about different topics and sharing opinions. I always try to create a relax atmosphere in which you can feel comfortable.

I can help with your pronounciation, your accent, with grammar and help you do your homework too. The goal is to strengthen your italian skills to the maximum, helping you talk, write and read like a native.

I am a serious, but relaxed teacher. I like to think that it is easier to memorize new things when having fun, rather than under stress.

Ho studiato per 5 anni latino e greco al liceo, dove la grammatica era al centro dell'attenzione, con l'esperienza ho però capito che per iniziare ad apprendere una nuova lingua (cosa che ho sperimentato con l'inglese e lo spagnolo) è importante avere un ruolo attivo nell'apprendimento. In fondo, Leggere libri e siti in italiano non è poi così complicato, Scrivere email e documenti di lavoro già presuppone una maggiore conoscenza della lingua, ma Parlare italiano… beh, è tutta un’altra storia e richiede un approccio ad hoc. Il Listening (l’ascolto della lingua) non basta: se vuoi davvero imparare a parlare in italiano devi fare pratica.

I'm patient and professional, but also very friendly. I enjoy teaching at every level (beginners, intermediate and advanced), and I would like to be able to help you become more fluent in Italian and in Friulian. Mi piace essere una guida per i miei studenti nell'apprendimento della lingua italiana; sono molto empatica e solare. Sono molto preparata e sempre aggiornata sulla materia che insegno; mi piace sperimentare e creare lezioni sempre nuove per i miei studenti.

Sono un insegnante molto affabile e cordiale. Cerco sempre di mettere a proprio agio lo studente, impostando la conversazione e le lezioni su argomenti che possano stimolarne l'interesse e la concentrazione. I have carried out teaching experiences in formal and non-formal contexts. I've carried out trainings on job market skills and on European programmes and funding. I have also taught Italian and English to migrants in Italy and to young learners. I've never taught languages in a professional way. However I enjoy teaching very much.

I teach Italian, German, English, Spanish, Russian, French, Dutch, Catalan, Portuguese, Greek, Hindi, Arabic and Esperanto (at different levels). I specialise in multilingual teaching (up to 10 languages in one course) and I am a certified language examiner for English, Italian, Russian, French, German and Spanish. I hold an MA in International Communication, an MA in Didactics, two BAs in Translating and Interpreting and a CELTA (Certification in English Language Teaching to Adults).
