As a tutor, I am very patient and attentive. For whatever reason you want to learn Italian: maybe for business, or you want to study in Italy, or you are just genuinely interested in learning a new language as a hobby - I will be here for you! I tailor my lessons to the level and the requirements of each person, in order to make the learning process quick, interesting and fun! If you prefer, we can also see and analyze together some articles, media or books that you like.

MY TEACHING STYLE I’m an easy-going and friendly teacher: I like to create an informal and relaxed environment to support my students’s learning process! I have great communication skills and I'm a creative person: I constantly update on new materials to use in my lessons.

I like to really understand what a student needs, and what he/she hopes to achieve. I am open to all kinds of topics and i try to be as engaging as possible.

Avendo insegnato a studenti da poco arrivati in Italia (bambini, ragazzi e adulti) e avendo io stessa imparato delle lingue straniere, ho sperimentato che è parlando, leggendo, scrivendo e anche giocando che si apprende più velocemente. So, però, che per parlare correttamente anche la grammatica e la sintassi sono molto importanti e, visto che in italiano sono molto complesse e ci sono moltissime regole, mi piace affrontarle partendo dalla conversazione, da letture e da video. Imparare dev'essere divertente e appassionante... altrimenti dopo un po' si perde la motivazione.

Come si evince dalla mia presentazione, non e' mio intento e grado, insegnare ad un livello accademico. Based on my background and life style, my goal in teaching is to improve the communication skill in everyday life needs. As I travelled a lot, I like to give priorities to those common habits and understanding of dialects and slang cacophonic weird sounds which could lead to an unpleasant experience in my beloved country. Such misleading wordings, put myself into some hard time scenarios, both in working environments either everyday life. Therefore, to plan in advance an all round historical and cultural heritance vision, should be a must for everyone willing to learn a new language.

Sono un'insegnante appassionata del suo lavoro, paziente e attenta alle esigenze e richieste dei miei alunni. Insegno a tutti i livelli (da principiante ad avanzato) ed età. Per me è molto importante creare un ambiente rilassato e disteso, dove lo studente possa imparare questa meravigliosa lingua in modo piacevole e divertente, perseguendo gli obiettivi da raggiungere!

Tra gli studenti e i tutor nei corsi di specializzazione per l'insegnamento che ho fatto (tra cui il CEDILS -Certificazione in didattica dell'italiano a stranieri e il CELTA - Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) io ero conosciuta come "la giocherellona". Sì esatto, una a cui piace giocare! Penso che la dimensione ludica sia il mezzo ideale per imparare senza accorgersi di star studiando e praticando la lingua. Io per prima sono studente di lingue straniere e so perfettamente cosa significhi faticare per crearsi una propria grammatica, ricordarsi vocaboli, fare figuracce davanti ai nativi... Niente paura! Ci sono qua io per te!!

I have been teaching Italian for four years in private language schools, online and in companies. As a teacher, I underline the importance of interaction and therefore my classes are student-centered. The goal is to produce meaningful and real communication at all levels. My mission is to help you achieve a confident tone in all aspects in accordance with your needs and wishes. I use different materials in order to diversify vocabulary. That way, you will be able to make jokes with your Italian friends but also engage in topics such as politics, art, work, technology.

Essendo laureata in Comunicazione Linguistica e Interculturale all'Università di Bari conosco benissimo la difficoltà che uno studente può riscontrare nell'approcciarsi a una nuova lingua. Io stessa, nel mio viaggio di apprendimento dell'inglese, tedesco e francese, ho incontrato svariati problemi. Ma sono profondamente convinta che con le giuste strategie e metodi non esistano ostacoli insormontabili! Preparerò ogni lezione in base alle esigenze dei miei studenti (grammatica, conversazione, pronuncia, vocabolario, ecc.) cercando di colmare qualsiasi possibile debolezza e consolidando gli aspetti già ben sviluppati.

I have studied foreign languages and literatures at university and I can speak Italian, English, Russian, Spanish and some German. I have been tutoring students for three years now and I have experience in helping both adults and teenagers. I hold a C2 certificate in English, so we won't have any communication problems. I've been told I'm a very precise and patient teacher and, in fact, I truly enjoy helping people.

La mia passione sono le lingue, ma mi piace parlare anche di storia, geografia, arte, musica e cinema. Non amo particolarmente i metodi di insegnamento tradizionali, per questo proverò a rendere il tuo apprendimento un po' più stimolante e originale. Le mie lezioni saranno informali, dinamiche e piene di riferimenti alla cultura e alla società italiana. So quanto sia difficile studiare un'altra lingua! Ecco perché sarò sempre disponibile per chiarimenti, risolvere dubbi e fare pratica con esercitazioni.

In the last 6 years I thought Italian to hundreds of Chinese students. I taught in Hubei University of Technology, and in many private training centers around china. I am a certified Italian language teacher (CEDILS certification by University of Venice). I also just completed a Master Degree in Teaching Italian as a foreign language by University of Insubria. Besides I got a degree in Teaching Chinese as a foreign language too... I did my studies. I started teaching on italki in 2016 as a community tutor and I liked it so much I decided to study and get a certification to be able to teach more: I now offer professional lessons as well as informal tutoring and conversation practice. As a student of languages myself, I know that speaking the target language since the start is the way to progress faster. I also know that a relaxed atmosphere is vital to learn effectively, because our brains work much better when not under pressure... don't panick! If you really don't feel like speaking Italian right away, it's not a big deal: we can use English, French or Norwegian.

I am a certified Italian teacher with more than 6 years of experience in teaching and tutoring different languages. I have gained experience with students of different nationalities, especially Chinese. I teach students of every level. adjusting my approach accordingly. After graduating, I attended various training courses and received two internationally recognized qualifications; the CEDILS certification and the “diploma DILIT”, which gave with a strong foundation in the theory and practical skills required for teaching Italian. I have given private Italian lessons to students of all levels, both offline and online; I have also worked and volunteered as an Italian teacher with an organisation that helps unaccompanied immigrant minors. I don't believe that one method fits all; everyone is different and so we will work out the best strategy for you, based on your goals, your personality and your current level of Italian.

I have been teaching for 10 years, in high schools with teenagers and in language courses with adults. During these years I had the opportunity to make my teaching method better, following continuing education courses to be always up-to-date and acquire new skills and techniques.
