I consider myself a language tutor. In my opinion, the best way to learn a language is to jump in and try to speak it right away, so my approach is not academic but starts from the practice of conversation. Più che un insegnante preferisco definirmi come un tutor linguistico. Credo che il modo migliore per imparare una lingua sia quello di buttarsi e provare a parlarla da subito, per questo il mio approccio non è accademico ma parte dalla pratica della conversazione.

Over the past year I have gained a substantial amount of experience through this platform I am always looking to actualize my programs! I began teaching Italian and German in 2019 and is now my job. In March I did the CEDILS exam to be a certified teacher of Italian. My goal-oriented lessons focus on the goals of the students and on developing simultaneously the 4 skills of language learning: Listening , Speaking , Reading , and Writing. My students generally love that they can learn grammar, vocabulary and phrases in a relaxed and friendly setting.

I worked for several years as a private tutor for high school students teaching scientific subjects and I volunteered as an assistant for children with special needs. I can fluently speak English and French as I lived in France and I completed my studies in English and I am currently learning Spanish.

I think the most important part of teaching is human contact. I like to put my students in a comfortable and trusting environment. Also, it is essential that you talk: the more you speak, the more mistakes I can find and the more new expressions and pronunciation tips can be taught. I'm patient and friendly: the primary and most important reason to take this type of class is to find an opportunity to practice. Therefore, you need someone who is understanding, who you won’t feel embarrassed to talk with, especially if you are a beginner.

I'm always talking about some aspect or another of any language to whoever is around me. I can recognize someone's origin from the first word sometimes. I love phonetics. I taught an American friend how to get rid of his lisp, and a Spanish friend to pronounce French properly. I taught English at the local village here in Costa Rica, and Spanish to the people I live with at the farm (we speak English). I try to teach in a fresh and innovative way, taking the best from many sources.

Mi piace utilizzare un documento condiviso google doc da usare come quaderno degli appunti. Con questo documento possiamo tenere traccia dei progressi dello studente e possiamo incollare articoli, immagini o slide utili per imparare la lingua. Posso conversare su praticamente qualsiasi cosa e utilizzo la conversazione come metodo informale per spiegare grammatica e concetti.

Cerco sempre di adeguare il mio modo di parlare al vostro livello linguistico, ma tendenzialmente parlerò in italiano, in modo da farvi abituare anche al suono della lingua. Sono un sostenitore del metodo “full immersion”: se si vuole imparare una lingua davvero, bisogna praticarla tanto. Per questo vi proporrò delle attività che potrete svolgere autonomamente tra una lezione e l’altra, se avrete tempo, come dei video da guardare su Youtube. Vi inviterò anche a scrivermi dei messaggi quando vorrete, per esercitare più frequentemente il vostro italiano.

Sono una persona sensibile, molto attenta ai sentimenti e ai bisogni degli altri. Preferisco definirmi come un' accompagnatrice nel percorso linguistico, piuttosto che un'insegnante. Ho il Diploma della scuola Dilit IH, il Diploma CEDILS dell'Università Ca' Foscari di Venezia; i crediti universitari per insegnare nella scuola pubblica, sono un esaminatore CELI.... ....ma soprattutto sono un'insegnante che riesce ad instaurare un clima rilassato e informale con gli studenti, amichevole, ma professionale.
