I'm afraid I'm not the typical teacher. I feel like I'm more of a friendly face correcting your errors and pushing you to practice and talk. I think a lot can be done alone with books but what makes talking to a native special is that one goes beyond the (often boring) book and is able to interact and have an exchange with the person. I studied languages in school and for a year in university. I know Italian grammar well and I love grammar in general. I translated for years and got to realise how hard it can be to use the language but also how beautiful Italian is. I do not teach children or complete beginners. I don't have the expertise and don't want to ruin the experience for them!

I am a simple teacher. Sono un insegnate semplice. I think the only way of learning a new language is SPEAKING with someone. Come tutore sono disteso, estroverso e calmo. La pazienza è la chiave per ottenere il massimo dei risultati. Perché una persona calma e rilassata, sta più attenta alle novità. Non essendo abilitato all'insegnamento della lingua italiana, posso aiutare i miei "interlocutori" con la pronuncia delle frasi, aumentando il loro vocabolario, correzioni grammaticali, e il linea di massima ad acquisire dimestichezza con la lingua italiana. La pratica aumenta l'autostima, la sicurezza e di pari passo la capacità di esprimersi in una lingua straniera con più disinvoltura.

The ability to speak correctly and with a good pronunciation is the most significative and fulfilling skill you will ever get, while learning a new language. That's why I organise each lesson as guided dialogue. This allows us to train at once each aspect of the language: grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, listening. Moreover, it boosts speed of learning and improves mnemonic processes.

Tra pochi mesi farò l'esame di maturità, sto studiando scienze umane ma a settembre inizierà il mio percorso universitario in Inghilterra. Studierò Business Management e se tutto andrà secondo i piani farò il master a Parigi. Sono una ragazza molto solare e coinvolgente, soprattutto sono disponibile e paziente e per questo ci troveremo benissimo durante le lezioni.

As an autodidactic polyglot, I am pretty familiar with challenges and tricks of learning languages and I help students overcome and master them. I have been teaching in different schools in several countries to students of different ages and levels. I am currently a teacher in a junior-high school in Italy. I have had classes for IELTS & TOEFL preparations, business courses, general English for children and adults and also conversation classes. During my BA degree in Italy, I have obtained extensive training on teaching methods and strategies that next to my long years of practical experience, it makes me a versatile teacher with robust classes that are both friendly and resourceful.

CLASSES All of the classes are made to help the Italian learner to improve his/her Italian skills (reading, listening, speaking, pronunciation and understanding/comprehension). I make each lesson to fit the needs, abilities and the learning level for each person. Each lesson is unique because the needs of each student are unique. With each lesson, the student will learn new words, new expressions/idioms , new phrasal verbs and grammar structures.
