In 2012, in Curitiba, Brazil, I opened my own school, Corso Brancaleone, where I offered language courses in which, since the first lesson – even for beginners – we followed collaborative study paths on Italian art and history. It was a great experience that made me meet so many people interested in going beyond the common language lessons. Through the programs Italiano+Arte and Italiano+Storia you can learn Italian and at the same time follow a discovery journey into italian history and/or art history. Working with images, maps and videos, we can explore Italy’s fascinating events and cultural heritage while mastering the italian language.

Italian for beginner and intermediate learners. I’m a full-time native Italian Tutor. I’ll help you achieve Italian fluency through my step-by-step method that combines listening to Italian songs, pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar.

About my teaching strategy: Personally, I prefer to start with key words and sentences you will actually need in real life situations and then expand your knowledge with grammar rules and vocabulary. Essendo laureata in Comunicazione Linguistica e Interculturale all'Università di Bari conosco benissimo la difficoltà che uno studente può riscontrare nell'approcciarsi a una nuova lingua. Io stessa, nel mio viaggio di apprendimento dell'inglese, tedesco e francese, ho incontrato svariati problemi. Ma sono profondamente convinta che con le giuste strategie e metodi non esistano ostacoli insormontabili! Preparerò ogni lezione in base alle esigenze dei miei studenti (grammatica, conversazione, pronuncia, vocabolario, ecc.) cercando di colmare qualsiasi possibile debolezza e consolidando gli aspetti già ben sviluppati.

Sono un'insegnante solare ed entusiasta. Mi piace trasmettere la passione per la mia cultura e la mia lingua, ma al centro delle mie lezioni c'è lo studente con la sua voglia di conoscere e di imparare. Proprio per questo, durante le nostre conversazioni avrai modo di parlare liberamente, di qualsiasi argomento, senza sentirti giudicato e, in breve tempo, comincerai a sentirti più sicuro nel parlare in italiano.

How I would describe myself as a teacher? I would answer: friendly, precise, creative and keen. Attentive to students and versatile, according to their needs and goals. Eager to learn students’ sparkling eyes are my real engine! I always make every effort to pass on to them my knowledge and my fondness for languages and cultures in a friendly and inspirational atmosphere. I enjoy teaching and also learning from my students. I like to learn about new cultures (history, languages, etc.) and also to share my own. I'm always open to meet new people and sharing with them experiences and knowledge.

Sono una persona capace di ascoltare e che riconosce l'importanza dei feedback e delle correzioni, senza però che queste ultime diventino un limite affinché la comunicazione avvenga. Cerco di capire quali sono i desideri e le difficoltà dell'alunno (timidezza, scarsità di vocabolario...), per superarle assieme.

Insegno su Italki da più di un anno e con il tempo ho preparato molto materiale differente per tutti i livelli. Ho insegnato italiano a bambini stranieri in Italia per diversi anni privatamente. Sono stata insegnante di inglese, di sostegno e di musica in scuole pubbliche in Italia dal 2012 al 2019. Ho insegnato inglese in progetti di recupero presso licei italiani. Ho svolto attività di volontariato in un progetto educativo in inglese in Sudafrica (luglio 2017). Ho lavorato nel settore turistico-linguistico in Italia per 7 anni. Ho svolto attività di traduzione dall'inglese e dall'olandese all'italiano.

CLASSES All of the classes are made to help the Italian learner to improve his/her Italian skills (reading, listening, speaking, pronunciation and understanding/comprehension). I make each lesson to fit the needs, abilities and the learning level for each person. Each lesson is unique because the needs of each student are unique. With each lesson, the student will learn new words, new expressions/idioms , new phrasal verbs and grammar structures.

I've been working as a language teacher since 2014. I've been teaching to students of almost all ages and educational degrees, from secondary school to university, and in language schools both in Italy and Spain. I adopt a communicative approach, without dismissing the importance of focusing on specific aspects of the language when needed. I love to transmit not only the language, but also the cultures of Italy and Spain. For this reason I love to use movies, musics and so on during the classes, and I hope that our lessons will give you a taste of these countries. And that you will learn more than just a new language.

I will teach you all my communication skills in the Italian language. No matter what level you are at, together we will achieve your goals! We will focus on the conversation, we will analyse dialogues and idioms in Italy, always paying attention to grammar! You will also receive invaluable motivation in learning the Italian language, but also in terms of everyday life.

I am a qualified English teacher but I have now specialised in teaching Italian as a second language and after two years working in two different private schools (teaching English and Spanish) I have started teaching Italian in an Italian institute in Istanbul. My current job involves not only teaching general Italian but also preparing students who want to take one of the Italian official certifications such as CILS, CELI etc.

MY TEACHING STYLE I’m an easy-going and friendly teacher: I like to create an informal and relaxed environment to support my students’s learning process! I have great communication skills and I'm a creative person: I constantly update on new materials to use in my lessons.

Personally, I believe in the effectiveness of informal learning, which is why I mainly focus on colloquial speech, common expressions, idioms, trying to establish a relationship as equal as possible to learn from each other through the process of knowledge. I like to listen just as I have no trouble telling and sharing my personal ideas and experiences. I am precise and I pay close attention to the individual training needs of the learner, committing myself to preparing material adapted to his needs from time to time.

After graduating, I attended various training courses and received two internationally recognized qualifications; the CEDILS certification and the “diploma DILIT”, which gave with a strong foundation in the theory and practical skills required for teaching Italian. I have given private Italian lessons to students of all levels, both offline and online; I have also worked and volunteered as an Italian teacher with an organisation that helps unaccompanied immigrant minors. I don't believe that one method fits all; everyone is different and so we will work out the best strategy for you, based on your goals, your personality and your current level of Italian.

I believe that every student is different and unique. Everyone learns languages for different reason, so I think is important to prepare lessons according to individual needs!

I am motivated and patient, I love teaching people from all over the world, and I have 1 year experience as a teacher in the platform "Preply". I am about to get my CEDILS certificate and I have graduated in linguistic mediation from ISIT Trento.

I offer informal conversation lessons, in which I can teach you how to pronounce properly any Italian world you might don't know and how to become familiar with Italian grammar too. We can choose the topic of our conversation each time or just chit chat about ourselves.
